Saw him at the O2 on Friday and can only re-iterate what the other one star reviewers have said. He was once great, Car Share is a masterpiece and his observational humour has been some of the b... Voir plus

Waited two years to see him awful
Waited two years to see him, and sadly he has lost his touch. I think I laughed twice. I don’t want to pay over £100 a ticket to sing along to old 70s and 80s advert tunes. That went on for almost the whole of the first half. He waited for hecklers, handed the mike out to audience members to sing… I paid to see him, not listen to the audience singing old advert tunes. Certainly won’t be back, and @peterkay, if you were serious about giving a refund , il have one.
Cringeworthy
We were bought tickets as a Christmas present and felt obliged to go. Lots of camera panning to the audience but so much of the audience singing old TV adverts...I had to get drunk and ply my partner with vodka to encourage him to stay. Peter was good in his day but sadly that day has gone. Fleetingly funny jokes but you couldn't pay me to go back to see him.
I was in hysterics most of the time
I was in hysterics most of the time. He certainly isn’t the same man as in the tour that didn’t tour show. He didn’t seem well and at times a little forgetful . But…. The crowd responded well particularly when he was filming them. Some new stories that had everyone howling with laughter.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show and he was very funny.
Watched in Cardiff
Watched in Cardiff; it was better than I thought it was going to be but there were huge problems with the sound that were distracting for comedian and audience. Peter really doesn’t look that well after his jabbing. He seems to have lost his original natural sparkle. I don’t remember a lot of swearing in other tours and majority of the entertainment was brought in by the audience. We enjoyed our night out but we won’t come and see him again
Peter Kay Cardiff 23rd January
Cardiff last night was fabulous laughed all my mascara off 😂😂.
Yes mostly old material … it’s not the material it’s how it’s delivered … he’s hilarious, old ones are the best right.
Yes he’s lost weight … give him a break he’s got diabetes and have had a stone removed. His rendition of that experience, I was laughing out loud and most people around me were. Audience participation again really funny.
We had a fabulous night 😂😂🙌🙌
The show at the BIC on the 10th Jan…
The show at the BIC on the 10th Jan relied heavily on old routines i.e. panning the audience with video camera, sing old adverts by audience Which seemed to be extended gap fillers. Although some very funny moments but not as sharp as previous.
I saw Peter Kay at the BIC…
I saw Peter Kay at the BIC (Bournemouth) last night. It was the funniest few hours - I was crying with laughter throughout. It was the best I have ever seen of Peter’s stand up shows. Absolutely brilliant. How anyone can make negative comments is beyond me!
Peter Kay at Brighton - Fantastic Show
We saw Peter Kay at Brighton last night - Friday 9th January’26.
He was BRILLIANT, six of us were in our group and we all thought he was hilarious.
We all thought it was an excellent evenings entertainment - thanks very much Peter for being FABULOUS.

Went to the Nottingham show on the 19th. Fantastic, new and old material, a few surprises, very funny. Worth the money.
Peter Kay is a genius! 🤩
Absolutely superb performance at Nottingham Arena tonight. Me and the wife were in stitches! 😃
Peter Kay at Nottingham Arena…
We saw Peter Kay at Nottingham Arena last night, what a fabulous show from start to finish. Tears rolling down our faces due to laughter, audience participation was brilliant, singing, jokes, nostalgia and the show just kept going and going with an outstanding finale, can't put into words just how outstanding he and the show were and there was a reference to Dalek bread ... ha ha, brilliant!
Nottingham 12th December
Nottingham 12th December
A poor night for one of UKs greatest performers. Saw 2 jokes in first half worth laughing at, left early to watch old PK on You Tube, the genius he was.
Nottingham Performance.
Saw Peter in Birmingham 3 years ago but this Nottingham show was just the same material - very little was new. Also any new stuff was a lot more crude than before. Love him at best but time to move on.
Why all the bad reviews?? It was great
I was really in 2 minds as to wether to not bother with going to the show as dates had changed and it wasnt as convenient as before.
All the reviews I had read were poor and I had in fact seen Peter Kay a few years back and it had been a bad show.
My husband had always wanted to see him, so I booked for his 50th this year.
All I can say is we laughed from start to finish, yes it was an old school kind of humour, his ad jokes and song lyric stuff probably lost on a younger generation who weren't bought up on them.
Yes he looked different as lot slimmer but had a sparkle in his eye and full of energy.
The bit that was a tribute to his Nanna was funny not depressing and the finale very good, dont even think about videoing or taking a picture the security will leap on you like they did a couple of rows behind us! But you cant blame them keep it as a suprise for the people to come.
All in all we loved it, a real feel good show for anyone 40 and above.
Make you own mind up, BUT it is worth it!
Saw him at Motorpoint on 12th December.
After hearing alot of bad reviews we nearly didnt bother going!
So glad we did, he was fantastic, yes some of his material is recycled, but not to the extent people are making out.
Audience participation, references to previous escapades, Nana features too, and the finale was brilliant!
We were sat lower floor pretty much in the middle, although seating a bit cramped it wasn't too bad. Prices ok at Motorpoint, not that prices for food, parking etc have anything to do with the Peter Kay management.
Still a comedy genius!
Saw Peter at Nottingham Arena. Absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. A gifted showman and comedian who had us in stitches from the moment he came on stage!
The best comedy show I have been to see.
Dissapointing & suddenly very crude
Dissapointing. None of his usual observational humour. Just crude and suddenly more swearing. The picture of his genitals in amongst a montage of photos for his nan seemed very odd. I was so looking forward to this, but left feeling that sadly the genius that was Peter is now gone. He doesn’t look well. I wish him good health .
Peter Kaye Brum
I saw his show last night in Brum and it is the funniest thing I've seen, I didn't stop laughing from start to finish and think I've given myself a facelift from laughing so much. I don't get the negative reviews at all, if you love Peter Kaye's previous work then this is perfect. It does suit people over 40 moreso but I know of youngsters who were there who didn't stop laughing. He is a true entertainer and so down to earth and real. DO NOT leave until the very end. I want to go and see him again.
Seriously some people would moan about…
Seriously some people would moan about anything… heard a lady say “he hasn’t told a joke yet” he isn’t that sort of comic he is an observational comic and had everyone in stitches with such…. He had lots of audience participation with a good all round feeling …. Don’t let the words of a few who obviously don’t get his humour deter you, he had an entire stadium laughing and feeling good. And I for one thoroughly enjoyed it 🤣
Excellent and hilarious
After reading so many mixed reviews and been a huge fan I was unsure what to expect however Peter did not disappoint the show was excellent, I laughed from the moment he came on stage until the moment he left, I loved he made reference to his previous comedy shows with his famous antidotes and loved the new stuff, the show is definitely tailored to a certain generation those who remember the 80’s and 90’s will be able to connect with the humour better. A great night full of laughter, I hope we will not have to wait so long for his next tour.
