I use to use petes garage always good but this year I had some things wrong theydodnt do it right costing me more money I took my car to another garage they found loads of faults petes garage didn't do also my mums car they didn't do properly. They shouldn't be aloud to trade they could cost a person life

The manager is not an honest person.
I questioned about a demo bike, which was listed for $3999. It was offered to me for $3500.
I agreed with the price, but had some questions before purchasing. I emailed him at 1AM.
In the afternoon, I hadn’t gotten a response, so I called and was told they accepted a deposit from someone else that morning. He was aware of my email, yet didn’t give me a chance to buy the bike.
So he offered to call me if the deal fell through.
A few days went by and I still noticed the bike on the website for sale.
This time, I used a different email to inquire about it, and the same manager answered it was available, but the lowest price they will sell is $4000.
I responded that he should uphold his offer of 3500 and he never responded back.
So, I figure either 1. He gave me too good a price and made up a bogus story about someone else putting down the deposit, or 2. It fell through and he failed to fulfill his promise to let me know.
Either way, even if he had upheld the $3500 price, I’d rather take my business where there is honesty.

I purchased a hitch carrier for kayaks. I got the carrier within a week. The ad did say the roof rack was not included but I could not figure out how to order it on their website/was not sure what I saw would work for my truck. I am ok with that but I emailed them, got a reply that left more questions. Sent another email got another reply but no instructions on how to purchase or any offer to make the process of purchasing the additional piece easier. I sent a third e-mail with a more implicit question; "How do I order and how much is it?". Never received a reply. Today I went to put the carrier together and noticed the crossbar is not included. That was not stated in the ad. Basically this carrier is worthless without the crossbar so why in the world would it be sold separately??? The website also does not have "pop ups" such as "people who have bought this also purchased..."
