Phare Labs Avis 

Like others, I was looking for a replacement for my nest alarms. The install was relatively straightforward with incredible customer care to assist with a query I had. The details provided by the units is incredible and is far more than the nest ever did. So glad I found these.

Needed to replace my Nest Protect (wired) smoke detectors as they started telling me they were end of life! After a search about I found Phare Labs.

I went for the C1 as I like the night path option on the Nest and didn't want to lose this. Install was easy, using the existing holes, almost the same surface covered so really easy to install and setup.

The app is simple (good simple) and shows more than before - air quality, temp, humidity.

Really impressed and turns out replacing the Nest Protect wasn't as much of a job as I thought!

After the disappointing news that Google destroyed the Nest brand, particularly the Nest Protect, I was excited to discover and be an early adopter of the Phare Labs C1 as all other smart smoke alarms being reviewed at the time of writing this all had their own quirks and problems and looked visually drab.
Being a small company with currently just the one product the team are highly passionate and keen to make this the number one smoke and carbon monoxide detector with the bonus of air quality, temperature monitoring and decent path light on the market.
Being smart the product and app will continue to be continually developed and improved, and the after service is the best I’ve experienced from any company.
If you had or have a nest protect coming to its end of life or other hardwired device, wiring in Phare Labs own connector will vary for everyone depending on each individual property. For me it took six hours to lift and repair Victorian floorboards and fit all the appropriate wiring and wago boxes to install 3 C1s, for some it could be a simple 30 minutes or less per unit.
Really looking forward to seeing how this company develops, some great minds behind it. Would be nice to see some alternative colour choices in the future so it works in every home, but the tech is first class and highly recommended.

Excellent communication from start to finish. Very well packaged with a simple setup process. I'm replacing expired Nest units and the mounting holes match exactly so the transition has been very easy. Very slick product and app, love the air quality info.

Simple, sleek, and reliable. I've had two Phare units installed for a few months now, and they've worked flawlessly. Installation was simple, and the devices look great. A worthy successor to the Nest Protect!

The design is clean and it blends in nicely both at home and in my apartment.

The app is pretty handy too. Easy to set up and I can quickly check everything from my phone if I’m away. Overall, a good experience and it just makes things feel a bit more under control without any hassle.

The product is high quality manufactured, state of the art technology and looks awesome compared with other comparable products. Installation is easy and support works very well. The info you get from the device is so extense! Obviously it's still improving after every firmware update, it's a young product, but I'm very happy with it.

I’ve had the Phare Labs smoke alarm for a few months now and I’ve been nothing but impressed with the performance. I have not had a single false alarm, I enjoy the notifications identifying power outages, and have piece of mind that my pet is safe at home if anything were to go wrong.

I would highly recommend the Phare Labs smoke alarm to any one who is frustrated by the frequent false alarms of traditional units, have a pet at home or enjoy a nice clean aesthetic in their home.

Phare is an excellent high tech fire alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, security monitor, and more. I've had mine since January. Our old carbon monoxide alarm (that is a box with a battery) started beeping at 3am one night and it was unclear if I should evacuate my baby and dog and call someone, etc, but Phare has sensors that deliver real time updates on carbon monoxide levels and more, so I could see it was a false alarm without having to spend the rest of the night figuring it out. Phare was absolutely clutch and saved me that night. It also looks really good and blends in with my modern kitchen appliances, so that's refreshing!

Finally! An intelligently designed and truly useful smoke alarm and air quality monitor! We don't get false alarms from cooking nor do we get annoying high pitched beeps in the middle of the night when a battery needs to be replaced. We have several in different parts of our home to cover sleeping areas, cooking areas, and areas where a furnace or water heater could emit carbon monoxide if not functioning properly. We are very satisfied with this product.

I was so tired of my old fire alarm causing chaos every time I cooked. Phare not only looks great, but it’s also smart enough to tell the difference between actual danger and normal cooking. Also, their customer service was excellent and replied to my questions very quickly!

As a parent with a small child and a dog, false fire alarms in the middle of the night are the last thing you want. Phare is reliable without being overly sensitive, it gives real peace of mind without unnecessary stress.

Great devices with intelligent data! These devices work like a charm and are a welcome break from dumb smoke detectors. They present intelligent data and information, and are sensitive enough to detect even small variations that are meaningful. We have four in our house and appreciate the design, meaningful data, and sleek look and feel

I love Phare - it’s like an “Apple” product amongst the fire alarms. Looks super sleek, doesn’t go off when it shouldn’t, monitors my air quality, and detects movement which gives me a lot of peace of mind when I’m away. A bit pricey, but well worth it.

I'm glad to have their products installed in my house! It's great to have peace of mind knowing more about what's going on in the air beyond just having an alarm to sound when there is smoke. The device in my kitchen notified me when I left my gas stove on and forgot about it!
