I run a small e-commerce brand and like a lot of founders with ADHD, my problem was never a shortage of ideas. It's the opposite. Too many ideas, too many shiny objects, and a to-do list that somehow grew every time I sat down to shrink it.

I went into Phil's Quarterly Zoom Out not totally sure what to expect, and I came out with the clearest read on my own business I've had in a long time, maybe ever.

What stands out about Phil is that he genuinely gets divergent entrepreneurs. He's not trying to bolt you into some neurotypical productivity system that was never built for the way your brain works, he meets you where you actually are. He's patient, warm, and you can tell that helping people like us isn't a side interest for him. It's the whole point. There's a real generosity to how he shows up.

The Zoom Out meeting did exactly what the name says: it pulled me up from ground level to a 10k foot view so I could finally see what moves the needle versus what just feels urgent. He helped me name my biggest hangups: spreading myself too thin, chasing the next thing before I've finished the last and he did it without an ounce of judgment. Then, the part I actually needed: he broke it down into bite-sized, achievable steps. Not a vague "do better," but a real, concrete next action I could start that week.

If you're a divergent or neurodivergent founder who's brilliant but scattered, talk to Phil. Easiest recommendation I've made all year.

I found Phil by chance. I must say, initially, when reaching out to him, I wasn't sure if he could help me with my specific situation. I took the chance, the leap of faith, and talked to him. He made it so I was able to be super comfortable and very transparent about my unique situation. He had a knack of being able to take my over-explanation of the situation and condensing it and streamlining it in a way where it's like, "Hey Ron, based on where you're at, here's what it looks like visually. We just got to break it down and do it like this." For me, with my ADHD brain, it helped me really understand things at such an easy level to execute. When I did execute within a week, I was able to fix my financial problems. Now I'm in a position where I'm growing, I'm leading the company, and I just overall got my mojo back.

If you're ever considering if someone can truly genuinely help you, I recommend just reaching out and giving it a try, because at least you can finally feel like you're not trying to figure out things on your own and keep running into a brick wall every single time and being so mad at yourself. Overall, I'm very, very happy and grateful for Phil's guidance, and I see Phil as a friend that always has your best interest at heart.

Following an investment raise in 2025, I became very aware of my limitations and gaps in experience when it came to scaling a business. I therefore decided to explore hiring a business coach.

The ongoing sessions and regular check‑ins have had a greater impact than I could ever have expected. From practical tools for emotional regulation to simple yet powerful reframing techniques, Phil’s guidance has been invaluable.

When I approached Phil, I was transitioning from being a software engineer to becoming a business coach and building a software-based business. I had also been recently diagnosed with AuDHD, making Phil a great match since he can relate to the challenges I face.
