My focus is on patient, confidence-building teaching tailored to each individual, helping learners become safe, skilled, and independent drivers. I offer structured lessons, test preparation, and Pass Plus (certificated) training, with a strong emphasis on road safety, real-world driving, and clear guidance. My goal is to make learning to drive a positive, supportive experience from the very first lesson.

Steven taught me to drive almost 4 years ago when he was training, and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have anywhere near as much confidence in the car as I do now! Learning to drive with Steven Phillips was a thoroughly positive experience. He was excellent at pacing each lesson and covering particularly skills as often. As necessary to help me achieve mastery. Kind, patient, clear and thorough, he made me look forward to every lesson and turned me from someone very nervous behind the wheel to a confident driver. The best instructor in the business!

Steven is an excellent driving instructor and helped me to pass my test the first time. He is very calm and patient and also explains everything in thorough detail using visual pictures of roads and toy cars which I found very useful. I would 100% recommend to anybody!

Steven taught me how to drive completely from scratch in about 2 months. I had the best experience learning with steven he’s really chatty and calm which is so nice as it makes you feel comfortable when learning. He always answered any questions I had and always had cool ways of explaining things that made them easier to understand. Would seriously recommend him to anyone looking to learn you will be in great hands!
