I decided to have a private scan as I was told I would have to wait several weeks on the NHS and then have a further wait for the results and the thought of waiting for such serious news was unbearable. I booked a same day appointment and the scan was very thorough with immediate verbal results. This was followed by an email with all scan photos and a detailed report. Staff were lovely and I would definitely recommend.

It was quick to get an appointment, and the procedure was clearly explained on the day before it started, clear instructions were given on how to manage the discomfort and results/conclusions were also explained very well by Alireza, the Ultrasound Specialist.

The entire process here is excellently organized—from booking the appointment to receiving the results! The doctors are experienced and attentive to their patients; they are true experts in their field and perform examinations very gently. The equipment is modern.

The room wasn’t up to a standard…
The room wasn’t up to a standard expected from a medical facility, bins overflowing items on the floor around the bin , bin was so full it couldn’t close . Piles of used couch roll at the head of the bed - I did email the clinic who apologised as it was not what they expected , but the clinic didn’t action the obvious hygiene issues before my appointment. If I hadn’t had to pay the full amount before the appointment I would have walked away.

The standards you have described are not what we expect for our clinic, and I appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. Please be assured that we take your comments very seriously and will address each of the points you have raised with our team.
We would also like to reassure you regarding the examination couch. After each patient, the sonographer cleans and disinfects the couch and ultrasound equipment using the appropriate disinfectant wipes, and fresh couch roll is used for the next patient. Nevertheless, we fully appreciate that the overall condition and presentation of the room you described would understandably have caused you concern, and we will review this carefully.

Immediate available ultrasound scan option for those in need
Online booking appointment is smooth and efficient. The location is easy to access, just a short walk from Farringdon station. Dr Babalou is kind and patience in doing the scan for me and explain the result. I received the scan report on the same day.
