The Pinetales buckwheat pillow has been a game-changer for me. Overall its a nice pillow and i do like that its firm but still malleable, it may not be for everyone because you can hear it when you move and it is rather firm if not shaped. i think the pillow case itself could be shaped more ergonomically as well but overall i love this pillow and if you have neck pain and need the extra support this pillow is nice because it stays where you put it. I have had this pillow for several months now and it continues to give me the support i need for my neck when sleeping.

I have struggled with neck pain for years due to hypermobility issues. This is by far the most supportive and adjustable pillow I have ever used. And, bonus,it helps keep me cool!

This pillow is very different from any other pillow I’ve ever owned. It definitely feels like your head molds into the pillow. Oh and you can remove the filling to your liking. My kids love it, from a “tactile” standpoint. Really nice pillow and natural filling is very important to me. Too many poly options out there. Bleh. So thank you for offering natural buckwheat pillows!!

It is comfortable and pillow is as promised, a lot of room for adjusting the amount of the filling yourself.

I researched dozens of companies selling similar Buckwheat Hull filled pillows. This one stood out with the more thoughtful features such as washable outer case, zippered inner case, fill options, providing a full "load" of fill (as opposed to requiring purchaser to buy additional fill). Moreover, the authenticity of their "message" on their website seemed honest and legit. The pillow I chosehas the Buckwheat Hull filling mixed with what look like shredded bits of Memory Foam. The pillow holds it shape well preventing neck bend in the middle of sleeping as the fill doesn't settle much at all. The pillow, so far (I've only used it for 6 nights), has not built up too much heat while sleeping - it seems cool even with the Memory Foam bits - if the Foam impedes air circulation it's not by much. I did not remove any of the Hull/Foam fill as recommended. Figured I'd try it first before removing the fill. Seems just fine to me filled the way it is but my neck is probably longer than most folks and the distance from my shoulder to ear is probably greater than most. In fact, I find it quite comfortable to place the pillow on "edge" when I'm on my side but lay it flat when I lie on my back. Glad I bought it because it has eliminate the very painful stiff neck muscles I had been having. This is the best pillow I have ever had. I was getting ready to buy a sculpted foam pillow when I learned about Buckwheat Pillows. No regrets on this purchase. Expensive but worth it as I don't have stiff neck pain every morning.

The millet pillow was recommended to me by my niece, but I decided to go with the 14X20 buckwheat/lavender pillow. After ordering, it arrived the next day! I had to remove almost half the stuffing over a few nights to get it right for me. It’s so comfortable, and with no more of the constant adjustment needed with my old pillows, I wake up much less at night. I like the small size because it leaves room for my Kindle/book on the bed. The scent is nice too.

These pillows are thick enough to hold your head up. You can move them and adjust them while never lacking support.

Our household has been on a pillow journey for years and I am happy to say I think that journey has come to an end. We've found our pillows! You can't go wrong buying a pillow from Pinetales. Their buckwheat hulls provide more firm support while millet offers a quieter, softer feel. Don't forget to purchase an extra cooling pillowcase for laundry days!

Hi all good sleepers after purchasing pillows from PineTales. I got a small hemp pillow an knee pillow case an cooling pillow case, an I love them all. Hemp pillow is comphy after getting use to it, kinda hard, but can take some hemp seeds out an put in knee pillow, that makes it perfect. An smells delightful. The cooling pillow case is nice an cool, really helps with hot flashes, and keeps me cooler so I sleep lots better.

The only pillow that prevents my migraines!

I hesitated to buy this after hearing about it from my acupuncturist. It took some time, but it has surprisingly helped reduce my neck pain and headaches. When I traveled without it, the pain returned. I highly recommend this pillow- it is definitely my favorite.
