Above & beyond customer service

Connie went out of her way & worked with me to research an order that was several years old & create a replica collar for our dog that passed unexpectedly (the original was unfortunately mangled by one of our rescues). The replica is a beautiful reminder of the sweet boy we lost too soon and it wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for the exceptional customer service. We’re extremely grateful to Connie & her team & we absolutely recommend them.

The owner of this company is a joke

The owner of this company is a joke. I ordered a harness for my pitbull and it broke four days after wearing it. Her excuse was that it was a walking harness not one that you can put your dog outside on a chain. My dog wasn’t even one years old when it broke, the reason she does not want to help is because my husband got mad and raised his voice because he was upset for wasting almost $200 on a harness that broke with four days. I did apologize to her right away for him, raising his voice once, but she went ahead to lie that he cursed at her . We wanted our money back, but she denied it so much for her customer satisfaction guaranteed policy. So we finally sent the harness back for her to repair it that she suggested, and she refused it and returned it back to sender, which we still haven’t received now 4 months but she lied to the Better Business Bureau that she never received it . Shame on you pitbull Gear. This is how you treat your customers!
You need to stop lying that my husband cursed at you you keep telling that lie and it’s not true, he was mad and said this is bullshit. Is that what you are referring to curse? Stop lying, I have the receipt with the tracking number and it showed you did receive my harness that we paid for almost $200 so again you are lying. You received this sometime in December and refused it and returned back to sender which we never got back.you keep telling lie after lie. And if you refuse it and returned it back to sender, you would not know what was in the package if there was an order number and name in there, would you now? My name and address was on the package so you knew exactly who it was from because we were going back-and-forth about this issue. You are very deceiving and manipulative and I will never do business with you again.Bestia is my new go to for my dog.
You keep stating that my husband cursed you, that is not true! He raised his voice and said bullshit, so stop making stories up! I do have the receipt that shows that your business did receive the harness but you refused it.

I never said it was in your possession, I said that tracking showed it did reach your address of business but it was refused and sent back. I am waiting for a call back from USPS as of today. All I ever wanted was our money back and when you refused that I sent the harness back for repair.

If the package was refused, there was nothing to identify what it was or who it belonged to. I am not the only person here. Again, if you sent it with no information, our policy is to "Return to Sender". If you say you have a receipt stating it was refused, then certinatly it's within the postal system. If your name and return address is on the pkg- you should have gotten it back. Please do not make accusations that we have possession of something we do not. We would never return something knowing who it belonged too so it's highly doubtful your information is on this pkg. It's a customer's responsiblity to notify us that something is being sent, and/or place a note in the pkg. We recieved no notification of anything coming. When I asked you if you provided info inside, you stated "you did not know you had too". I have record of that exchange. I would encoruage you to contact USPS and question them on the whereabouts of the pkg. I would also like to see a photo of the pkg where your name and address is referenced. Again, if it were, there would never have been an issue. Best of luck.

To be clear, the harness purchased was not made for or used for the purpose the customer is using it. Our website explicitly states instructions on contacting us if this is to be used on a cable attachment or teather. Feel free to read our website and reviews.

To address the harness being sent to us: We have never recieved the harness. Apparently the customer decided to take us up on our original offer to repair it- from day 1, when the phone call came to me where I was yelled at and cursed at. Despite this, I still offered to repair it. Having said that~ keeping in mind the harness was not used properly which is why it broke. This is a walking harness- not one to hook a dog up to a cable on and pull.

After the previous case was closed, I assumed that was the end of the conversation. I then received a email weeks later stating they sent the harness back. I advised we never recieved anything. Also noting that IF anything is sent back without a name, order number or identifying note- we as a company mark it "Return to Sender". If a customer sends something without any way to identify who it's from, what it's for, or where it goes, it does get returned. We cannot guess or hold things without knowing who they belong to. I do not know if this was the case here. I would imagine that a tracking number would be able to trace the package. That was not provided to me at anytime. Further, I did ask if the customer provided a name, note or the return address was somewhere on the package~ she stated she did not think she had to provide that information. (below is an email, one of many that I sent her right after the first phone conversation and before the first BBB complaint was sent in, providing instructions on how to send the harness back for repair- again, which we have offered from the very beginning. If it was something without a note or name, and it was returned to the sender, again, the tracking would show where that package was. We do not have this package and never recieved anything with this customer's name associated with it. At this point, my offer from the very first phone call was not good enough~ depsite the fact that it was misused. Only after the case was immediatley closed by the BBB in our favor, the customer decided to take us up on the offer. I only know this because I was notified via email that it was sent back. It was never recieved by anyone here. We have tried to rectify this situation from the very beginning and continue to have to expalin and defend our business, reputation and quality.

Connie is AMAZING!

I have been dealing with this company for years. And, there is a reason for that. Quality and excellent customer service.

Yesterday (April 30, 2024), I received a call from the company confirming that I placed an order and to ensure that there was no credit card fraud, due to me inputting my CVV code incorrectly. Now, here's the best part of the story. Even though I entered my CVV code incorrectly, my charge went through! But, I was being called to notify me that they wanted to protect me and would not accept the money unless I provided them a verbal confirmation. I mean, who does that?! Typically, if a company can obtain money from you, they keep it. They NEVER concern themselves with protecting the consumer on the front end of a transaction. But, Connie, at Pit Bull Gear does! Now, that's what I call a reason to continue to be a LOYAL customer with this company. As well, you cannot beat the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each piece they create. Pit Bull Gear custom makes each dog collar I purchase. And, it is worth it!

If you are a 'Human' to a dog and you want to give them the VERY best, look no further! You have found the right company.

Great business

Great business! I needed a strong and heavy leash for my Corso. At a little over a year old, he weighs more than I do and it was getting hard to control him on our walks. This leash exceeded my expectations by a mile. It is almost too big and heavy for right now but I still love it. The handle and the chain are top quality and I will be using it for our winter photo shoot! They also sent a hand written note, along with a discount code for future purchase!

Beautiful hand crafted custom collars

I bought a custom collar for my dog 2 years ago, it fit perfect and I have constantly received compliments on the handsome handmade leather collar. It's still in great condition. So I ordered 3 more custom collars for all my girls, custom with gemstones, pink gator and nameplates - absolutely gorgeous, excellent quality. I've shopped for other collars and found they were double the price and weren't made of leather, nor made as well. I highly recommend pitbullgear.com for custom leather collars for all dogs, not just pitbulls. (although they do look amazing on a bully dog)
