My primary school TTRS
I am now in secondary school, when I was in primary we used this and only now do I realise how toxic this game is. As someone with low processing speed and high functioning ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), I was slower than my class, even though I am good at maths and I now go to a school in which I am in the top set. I was undiagnosed so I just thought I was useless, I cried so much. I don't mind the leaderboard function, but the titles have to go, or at least be renamed. Calling the fastest students legends is fine, but the titles "Wannabe" and "Support Act" in particular don't sit right with me. What do you mean a child is just a Wannabe? It suggests that they'll never make it. And Support Act...you can see the issue. It feels like they're saying that they are only supporting others with their lack. These terms were approved by grown adults to be used on children. I cried constantly doing the TTRS homeworks. This was a bit of a rant, excuse me if I was rude, I am still learning to regulate. I hope you find this helpful, have a great day!!!
