Poindeo is a screen recording and online video editing platform. Now one could say there are many available - and I also tried a lot before settling for Poindeo. But it does an outstanding job by having automatic zooms on your mouse clicks during recording, allowing to integrate existing images, PDFs, and video files in a recordings, professionalize clips with background music, automated subtitles, watermarks, and such, and the option to download the results as video, single still image, or an animated gif.
Such feature set all goes well beyond that of regular or free screen recorders. While having a generous free tier, the exceptionally well priced lifetime offer was -of cause- something too appealing to miss that opportunity.

Very simply said: After the free trial with Poindeo I was convinced to delete a number of other tools I was using previously. It just settles the needs once and for all. It's free to test and I'm sure anyone will get hooked easily.

As a safety professional, my job isn't just about creating protocols - it's about communicating them effectively. Poindeo makes that easy and more importantly fast.

The feature I like the most is that it can create a polished, professional-grade explainer video or a concise GIF explainer for embedment in a html email or e-learning presentation in a fraction of the time it used to take me in traditional software.

Being able to create a short, loopable visual with smooth zoom animations that demonstrates how to use a safety system or a specific safe work practice - like how to use a chemical system or how to schedule an audit and embed it directly into an all-staff email as a gif/video is better than the standard text based instructions. These visual "micro-lessons" cut through the inbox clutter and ensure critical safety information isn't missed.
