Absolute rubbish company.
I purchased a rangehood that was clearly not new. The frame was bent beyond repair, the box had been re-taped, and the styrofoam was smashed into 50+ pieces. It was an obvious repack.
I used to work in the industry, and there is no chance this was brand new stock.
After taking a week to respond, they tried to tell me this was “normal wear and tear from interstate transit.” That is complete nonsense. A bent unit and visibly re-packed box is not normal transit damage.
Then, instead of taking proper responsibility, they offered to repair parts on a supposedly “new” item or have me package up their damaged unit for return.
Under Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to goods that are of acceptable quality and as described. This was neither. Misrepresenting an obviously damaged, repacked unit as new is not acceptable.
Terrible company. Avoid.
Powerland - Samsung fridge purchase and delivery
I recently bought a Samsung fridge from Powerland. It was $500 cheaper than anyone else and the website was easy to use, showing me all the dimensions, so I knew it would fit the space. Although the delivery driver was very late, it was just before Xmas, he was extremely busy and the traffic was hectic. I was really impressed with how quickly and efficiently he managed to get it off the truck and in to my apartment, taking all the packaging with him. The Samsung fridge is great too.
Like all online retailers when it's good it's great, when it's not I wish had bought it from a physical store
Delivery took an eternity and got sent to the wrong address.
The cooktop was missing warranty paperwork and sealing tape.
Powerland was notified and now it somehow feels like it's my fault.

Exceptional Price, Service & Delivery
I recently purchased a fridge freezer from Powerland.com.au, a company I had never used before. Normally, I stick with the bigger retailers, but Powerland had the best price – I paid $849, which was cheaper than the major stores ($892). On top of that, they included free next-day delivery, whereas the bigger names were charging $59 for delivery – a significant saving.
I placed my order late on a Friday afternoon, and to my surprise, the fridge was delivered by 9:15 AM on Saturday morning. The delivery experience was outstanding – the driver (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) was professional, courteous, and kept me informed. He called ahead to confirm the time slot and again when he was 20 minutes away, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
Powerland has won me over with their great prices, fast and free delivery, and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be shopping with them again when I need electrical appliances. Highly recommended!
Very poor after sales service
Since my below review, I spoke to the Salesperson who looked in to it and he got back to me to advise the tap was actually at the store and as advised in the below, nobody bothered to contact me about the delay in the delivery, the tap crossed off the order, why it was crossed off and what they were going to do about it as I had already paid for it. It's sheer laziness to not look for the item and sheer incompetence by those involved. It will be delivered to my current home on Monday, but this only came about because I had to chase them up.
I agree with the reviewers who had poor after sales service. I placed a large order and to start with, I called a few separate times to query/clarify things and left messages but didn't get a call back. Delivery was today as the new kitchen gets installed tomorrow. I also stressed that all of the products had to be delivered today and they confirmed they would. I had to drive a long way to the house. I then got a message to say the delivery window was between 3.00pm to 5.00pm. I called at 4.50pm as it appeared it would be late or cancelled,only to be told they would be delivered within an hour. I was not impressed because they should be advising if the driver is running late. This put me in a difficult position as it was getting late and I had a 1hr 20 min drive back to my current home probably in the dark and I don't see well in the dark. When the items were delivered, the kitchen tap was missing. I asked the driver who said he didn't have it and that it was crossed off the list. No-one bothered to call me and advise that so again, it's up to me to chase it up tomorrow to ask why it was crossed off, why didn't they tell me and advise a solution, and ask where the hell is the tap which I paid for. This is extremely poor after sales service. I was thinking about replacing 2 more appliances before my move to the other house which is getting renovated but I'm not going to after this experience and I'll never buy from them again.

What turned out to be a sour experience became great
Although there was a miscommunication at first, Powerland was able to turn things around and was able to deliver the product faster than I expected it to be
No company is perfect but I hope they can improve the way they communicate to clients when client calls them to ask for an update
Other than that, I am grateful how things were handled.

Bouquets to Powerland, but not to Allied Express delivery company
No problem with Powerland themselves. I had a good experience purchasing a steam ironing product. I feel they need to review their use of Allied Express who did not follow my delivery instructions to leave on front porch accessed via side gate. Package was left inside front gate in full view of people using footpath. Luckily no one helped themselves. Unimpressed by this service.
