They overbook their parcel box

They overbook their parcel box, then they deliver the parcel in a completely different place without even giving you the option to choose where to deliver it. If the other place (can be far far away) is not good for you, YOU have to contact them and tell them to deliver it elsewhere and when you are not happy about that they will make you feel like they are doing the right thing. EVERY other post company manages to keep the operations of parcel box up to date and would contact you in case it is full. The quality of PPL went down to the lowest of all delivery companies we have in Czech republic. Just use someone else.

I was home all day working from my…

I was home all day working from my living room. I received an SMS saying "Unsuccessful delivery attempt, recipient not home." This is a blatant lie! The driver didn't even drive down our street; I would have seen him. Now I have to drive across town to a ParcelShop to pick up a heavy package. Absolutely unprofessional behavior.

The worst delivery company ever

The worst delivery company ever. Somehow, they managed to completely ruin two out of two parcels I have used with them. One has been delivered to a different address (??? how???) because it was CONVENIENT for them. Second one has been "in delivery" for 3 weeks. When I managed to call them they said "system had an accident, it was delivered, driver just was not able to change the status, so now your parcel is somewhere else".
Literally THE WORST EVER delivery company.

DEEP DISAPPOINTMENT WITH PPL SERVICES

I have had long-term positive experience with PPL services; however, a recent incident has left me deeply disappointed.

In the course of my business, I received a shipment containing two control electronic modules, one of which had a value of CZK 70,000. The box was delivered with polystyrene and cardboard padding, and the goods were adequately protected. After receiving the shipment, I repacked the units in exactly the same manner and sent them back to the owner.

Unfortunately, the shipment arrived back in a very poor condition. The electronic modules were completely destroyed – plastic housings shattered, surfaces cracked, connectors torn out, and the aluminum heat sink severely deformed. It is not possible to insert the photographic documentation of the damage to this review. But it should be available on the PPL review page in the Czech company portal Firmy.cz. Damage of this extent could not have occurred through standard handling.

The manner in which the shipment was handled must have been extremely careless, which led me to file a complaint with PPL. Regrettably, the company’s response was highly unsatisfactory. The claim was rejected on the grounds of “insufficient packaging,” rather than acknowledging the clearly improper handling by their staff.

The shipment was also insured for CZK 50,000; nevertheless, no insurance compensation was granted.

I hereby express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the most recent PPL service. This experience has significantly undermined my previous trust in your company.

This review is about PPL.cz - a shipping / delivery company in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿

This is the THIRD time PPL has caused me serious problems.

I ordered special veterinary diet food for my old and sick cat. This food is medically necessary, and my cat is not allowed by the vet to eat anything else.

PPL confirmed delivery to a parcel box near my home, then delivered the parcel to a completely different parcel box, far away, in a hard-to-find location, without asking me or informing me — even though they had my phone number and email.

No call. No email. No message.

- To retrieve the parcel, I had to call a taxi.
- Even the local taxi driver could not find the location. - I eventually had to walk around 5 km at night, in cold weather, using GPS — because my cat was hungry, sad, and waiting for his medical food.

Had PPL delivered the parcel to the correct location, my cat would have had his food on time.

This is not an isolated incident, but a repeated pattern with PPL that many other customers also report.

I am especially disappointed because PPL is owned by DHL Group, yet the service quality shows no responsibility and no improvement.

Dealing with PPL has caused me nothing but stress and problems. I will never use this company again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it.

Scammers

Scammers . They saw in my package items worth more 9000 czk so they decided to take them and pay me these useless 5000 czk as compensation .

PPL is a lousy delivery company

PPL is a lousy delivery company. They don’t deliver goods.
They might try, but they’ll do it whenever it’s convenient for them, not for the customer.
Their support doesn’t work, they have thousands of negative reviews, and after several attempts I understand why.
I don’t recommend anyone to use PPL delivery, or even more so Parcelbox, which simply doesn’t open.

Duck the customers

Two packets on same name, with succeeding numbers. Day 1, delivered only one at one site. Day 2, delivered the other at another site. Day 4, returned the other packet. Never again...

WORST DELIVERY COMPANY -RUDE DRIVER
Their drivers lack to profession, even after reporting the issue to the office the pretend not understand what I was describing. Driver threw my pack when trying to explaining myself and wanted to know why I paid for home delivery yet they leave my package there their deported? The driver grabbed the boy and pulled him to the van throwing my package on the ground. I feel they are scammers, why should I pay and let me walk to pickup it up myself? Why when I try to ask and throw my package and not answer me. Never again shall use this company and will make sure all my friends never use this company

lack of professionalism

Finally, after two months of waiting, they confirm that they have lost the package and they do not want to give me the money for what was inside, they want to give me 8% of the price. Regrettable. Furthermore, if you want to recover at least the money for the shipment that was not made, they force you to lie and declare that they only lost that 8%.

PPL customer service is the worst

The customer service of PPL is, to say the least, slow and inefficient. Last June, I sent 4 boxes from Prague to Rome, and only 3 of them arrived. After a month, all I have received are emails without a real solution, and there is no end in sight. PPL says that once the box leaves the Czech Republic, it is no longer their problem. That response seems childish and unprofessional to me, especially considering the shipping cost, which is not cheap at all. I regret using PPL.
