Telani beta read a POV change rewrite on my YA epic fantasy novel The Last Dragonfly. I asked for beta readers in a facebook group, for an Epic / LGBTQ fantasy novel. Although I set no deadline and was not in a rush, she nevertheless read it quickly and wrote an excellent beta reader's report. She paid attention to character arcs, pointed out things that could have been misunderstood, and also made a point of mentioning how a dyslexic reader may struggle and where, which was very useful. The whole feedback was very clear and, while I decided to decline a couple of her (many) suggestions (for the sake of authorial / artistic intent), all of her suggestions were useful, and I ended up acting on many of them.

A great experience. I was initially cautious of handing my dog training manuscript over to anyone else. I have a particular conversation style of writing, which I wanted to maintain. Terani was brilliant - making suggestions, reordering some sections to give a better flow, but without losing my voice/personality. Nothing was too much trouble, even the late changes I wanted to make.
