Principia Law Avis 67

My experience with this company borders on harassment. Not necessarily Principia's fault but I had to spend months sending them bank statements, filling in paper work and on the phone so they could assist Auxillis in recovering costs of a hire car from insurance of a party who admitted liability to crashing into our car. I realise this is an industry issue (WHICH ABSOLUTLEY NEEDS LOOKIGN INTO AND REGULATING)and principia are just getting in on the action. However the people I had to deal with at Principa were incompetent, requesting duplicate info, not filling in info correctly etc. Through out they tell you you have to co-operate or you could be liable for the charges. To top this off - when i called about the cheque for compensation being sent to thew wrong address, I was charged £14 for the phone call on my phone bill.

They acted for my daughter after she was hit by a negligent driver who accepted responsibility immediately after impact then decided it was her fault. Took a while to get to court but found they were professional, polite and thorough in their correspondence to her.

My car was hit and damaged whilst stationary. Principia were trying to regain the costs of a hire vehicle I used when my car was repaired.

I complied through out. Sent all images with time stamps of the damage to both vehicles etc - 4 years later they claimed they didn't have these. Badgering me for my bank statements as if they were relevant. Constantly implying that I would be liable to costs in an intimidating manner.

I asked them not to contact me whilst I was recovering from a miscarriage - they didn't abide by this and continued to harrass and intimidate me. Asked again to give me some space when my daughter was first born - failed to do so. Recieved curt and rude emails regarding court (treating me like I've done something wrong in a non fault accident 4 years later)

I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March and I sent an email with my medical notes etc to explain I will definitely not be able to attend court etc as I am having brain surgery in just a few weeks time and to please leave me alone. Even this wasn't enough, relieved another curt email regarding closing the case - now explanation about me not being charged (which they had been intimidating me with for a while)

Rang and spoke to a manger called Lauren who was the only decent person I have spoken to at Principia. She explained that I would definitely not be charged anything and that the member of staff "didn't want to ring me as I'd said no contact". So thought she'd send another intimidating email with no explanation instead to someone in my current position.

This company don't have morals and lack emotional intelligence. I think they are really scraping the barrell with their staff, the sort of people who weren't quite smart enough to be a solicitor but probably were brought up with money and just had to go to university to do something.

I was hit whilst stationary in Dec 2019 and Principia had failed to settle the case by April 2024. They wanted testimony from me over and over again as if I could remember half the details over 4 years later.

I had a driver hit my car and claim it was my fault. With the help of Natalie Murphy, I avoided having to go to court to get justice and the other side agreed to pay all my repair bills. A big thank you for resolving this issue.

Case ref. 188546.001. They really dropped the ball by failing to inform my partner of her court case. Incredible. We were nearly liable for the car hire plus court costs in a no fault accident. I suspect the 'great' reviews are mostly made up as they follow a very similar format. Be very aware and I recommend taking to the financial service ombudsman if you have a problem (as it costs them £750).

This company who I have never heard of before have been chasing me demanding copies of bank statements and harassing me for money for an accident over two years ago which was not my fault and has been settled. They seem to thrive on menacing people for money even when have never used them. Complaint submitted to Law society but please be aware these charlatans will try and get money out of you for something you have not done.

Our parked stationary car was hit by a van. This law firm is involved in recovering the costs, three years later and we're still fielding basic questions from them about what happened and when. We feel harassed, it's impossible to stop their endless calls and emails.

Taylor has been amazing all the way through, keeping me informed on every step of the claim. Her advice was very helpful and we reached to an appropriate settlement. I fully recommend Principia Law
