The Double Order Catastrophe

My co-worker placed an order and wasn't sure it went through online. I later placed the same order thinking the previous order didn't go through. To my surprise both orders went through, and I needed to cancel one of the orders. I called and spoke with someone who instructed me someone would contact me about the situation. I was contacted by Misty and she said she would do her best to cancel one of the orders but not sure if she could because they were next day orders. A small tome later I received an email saying she was able to cancel one of the orders. Thank you to Misty and the entire Propel Parts Team. Greatly appreciated!!

Everything fine

Everything fine, thank you. The only thing with which I had a problem in your Software, is that when I have more than 10 different items on the list, I can't scroll to the first ones. But besides that, I am very happy in going on with buying your parts.

Part incorrectly priced on website.

I placed and order for a part from their website with no problem. A few hours later I received an email from Deb in customer service. Deb said they have the part in stock but not for the price I paid. Deb said I had two options which were to get a refund or pay double the amount that I placed the order for. At the time I received the email from Deb the part I ordered was still showing in stock for the price I agreed to. Deb said it was a rare occurrence that their website showed incorrect prices. I felt duped and misled by their website.

Hi Michelle—I’m so sorry for the experience you had. I completely understand how disappointing it must have felt to place an order with confidence, only to be told later that the price was different. That’s not the experience we want for our customers.

The issue came from a pricing sync error on our website, which caused the part to display at the wrong price. That’s on us, and I want to sincerely apologize for the confusion it created.

As soon as we became aware of the discrepancy, we reached out and processed a full refund for you that same day. Our intent in situations like this is never to mislead, but simply to be transparent and give you the choice between a corrected price or a refund.

I know that still doesn’t erase the frustration. As a gesture of goodwill, we’ve also reached out to you offline with an additional apology and an offer to help make this right.

Grateful I found this company!

I’m grateful I found this company! They answer the phone every time plus the parts are packaged very well!! Even the angriest mailman couldn’t damage your parts! lol The parts showed up as planned and for being aftermarket the quality seems to be good!! The warranty is the same as CAT. Thank you Daniel!!!

Staff took care of issue that was nit created by them. Package was lost by UPS. Propel sent me another part Next Day Air to correct it.
