Carhistory.us.org gave me a highly detailed history report on a vehicle I am looking at. I can't imagine any other car history company giving you more information, period, let alone for $1.00.

$1 dollar does not mean $1
I thought the one dollar fee almost seemed to good to be true. I chekced my account and it appears that an additional $18.95 was charged to my account. Next time I'll double check the fine print. Very disappointing since I did not get much information about the property at all.

I needed to find out information about my 2002 Land Rover Discovery. Most people investigate the vehicle before it is purchased. Being that I was so excited about this SUV, I failed to use a vehicle history report before the purchase. I highly recommend that as a consumer you do this when you find that awesome used vehicle you are dying to slide into.
I was relieved to know that from the information this website provided me, my beloved Rover has had no major problems. The report I received was very detailed and cover a ton of different topics concerning the vehicle. Very impressive website that delivers what it says it will. I also appreciated the fact that there is an actual person, Andy, that you can contact by email or phone. That gave me a peace of mind all in itself. I appreciate the help.

Peace of mind, well worth the $1!
What a great site! It only took a few minutes and I was able to see previous ownership, where and for how long. The site also has great resource links to help with other information like value pricing. The checklist before buying a car is irreplaceable. This is the best choice for a VIN check.

A necesatiy for $1
I found this great sight after the run around with other sights that promised to give me a free car history report. The other sights ended up only telling me if the VIN # matches, and maybe the specs. With this sight for $1 it gave me checks on liens, theft, damage and offered live chat support along the way. It gave me a little more of a piece of mind on making a purchase.

Great report at a good price
The report seemed very comprehensive and did not take long to download. It gave me peace of mind when deciding on a used car.
The only drawback was that it was a little confusing when it asked if you wanted the premium service for $120.00... I almost bought that by mistake.
