It was a very sad morning for my daughter - took well over half an hour to get situated with technical difficulties, so poof, her alloted time had passed and she needed to wait 24 hour to even call to choose a new time to take the exams. The video talks about making it easy and stress free to take your exam, and I just had to laugh - such the opposite. Chromebook, by the way, some of the most common laptops on the planet, are one of the non-compatible devices. That is also unfortunate.

The invigilator is short tempered, wont facilitate and have an attitude when talking to the candidates, extremely rude.

I ordered and paid for a rush CHSPE cert not a Hiset cert. it was promised in 3 business days . On the third business day I called and cancelled and that depending on my bank it could be 10 days. My bank researched and they have not initiated a credit and my order still shows pending. Contacted customer service who keeps telling me to order through parchment. I no longer need the certificate. I need my refund and the rush order fee returned . It was 44.20 and I can’t get it back .

If I could leave a zero I would. Called to schedule an online proctored exam, gave me the wrong timezone and I made sure to bring this up on the call. He reassured me that it was correct and I would not have an issue. Day of the exam comes I log in and i'm an hour late, called to resolve this issue and was told it was my fault, now I have to wait another day to even schedule it. As well pay double for a mistake I did not make. Shame this company is doing this and not being helpful in any way! Maybe this is what they do to try to take more funds who knows, I usually don't leave reviews but if this helps change their system or just to give someone a heads up thats enough.

The test was nothing like the material we studied.

PSI was efficient in making contact and scheduling. The staff was courteous and the professional throughout the testing procedure.

The environment scan process took 45 minutes, which felt excessive. Being repeatedly (over 7-8 times) asked to rescan the room, walk to the other side of my desk and office, open drawers on the other side of my desk (makes no sense), to lift up items made me uncomfortable and gave me the impression I was being unnecessarily scrutinized. It was a poor and stressful way to start the test.

This is an absolute scam, choose another company if it's at all possible. At very least, DO NOT TAKE the online proctored exams. I was violated for "looking" away from my screen three times before I could reply and I "failed" the test. However, I was not looking away, I was looking at either end of my very wide computer monitor. They didn't care, they brushed me off, said it would take 2-5 days to review, THEN HUNG UP ON ME! It's not a mistake that they do not have a direct contact number on their website, they are obviously extremely dysfunctional and unprofessional.

Clear instructions and easy to use. I will say that some of the items on the test were not covered in the practice exams..... not a problem because I passed and happy I knew the answers anyway. thanks for making it all easy

Very organized.

I took and passed my exam with PSI on June 26, and weeks later, the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology still has not received my scores.

For the past 2 weeks, I have called PSI Customer Service almost every single day. Every time I call, I get nowhere. No one can explain why my scores have not been sent, no one seems able to actually resolve the issue, and despite multiple requests, nothing changes.

This is not a minor inconvenience. PSI’s failure to transmit my exam results is delaying the issuance of my professional license and directly affecting my ability to work.

It is incredibly frustrating to complete all of your requirements, pass the exam, pay the required fees, and then have your professional license held up because a testing company cannot complete the basic administrative task of sending exam scores to the licensing board.

The lack of accountability, communication, and effective customer support has been extremely disappointing. After countless calls and two weeks of trying to get someone to actually fix the problem, I am still in exactly the same situation.

Absolutely unacceptable service

I have called them and I have reached out by email. They have not responded to my emails. I was finger printed at one of their testing sites. The testing site gave me someone else receipt. They told me to contact PSI. PSI tried to blame the testing site but the testing site told me that the respites go to PSI and they use PSI machines. PSI has not responded to me with any information, no updated details about the receipt or any other information. Horrible service!!

All the question in the packed never show on your exam! totally difference. Waste of time, waste of money

Completely incompetent system, proctors sat for 30 minutes saying my computer setup wasn’t adequate but not telling me how to fix it. Tech support couldn’t help either, when I finally thought I had figured it out the proctor said to exit and reload the test and I was locked out of taking the test. Do not recommend taking any sort of online proctored test from them if you want to actually get anything done, take the extra time and go take it in person somewhere.

I can’t access the material. It’s not user friendly at all.

The people in the reception area are not polite. They talk to people without using the word "please " for a single time. They should be trained in how to have respectful conversations rather than talking in a commanding way

I do not know why the department of insurance in CA uses this company at all. I have had several agents take exams through PSI. They are super frustrating to deal with. Their customer service is outsourced and not helpful at all. They won't correct errors in their own system and they charge you even when the mistake is on their end and they basically say "too bad". Their log in is unnecessarily difficult to navigate and then getting your results is impossible. Error codes come up on their pages and they tell you to call back 7 days later to get your results that should be instant. When you ask them to tell you by phone what your score is they won't. CA dump this company and use a company in the US that can actually help!
