Pup Up Cafe Avis 

We went to the pup up cafe in York today and although it was great to interact our sausage dog with other dachshunds, our experience was ruined by a salesperson who was insistent on signing us up to a dog food subscription after we persistently told them we was not interested as our dog was on a specialised diet to lose some weight.
They approached us in plain clothes with no identification on and acted as if they were another pup up cafe attendee. They spoke to us for a while before attempting to hard sell us the dog food for around 20 minutes, we felt very cornered and uncomfortable and it ruined the experience for us if I’m honest.
We would have loved to attend future events but we wouldn’t attend again due to this which is such a shame as I think without this, we would have most likely had a great time.

My dachshund, Snoop loves socialising with other sausages and it’s a great event to meet lots of other dachshund owners.

The Pup up cafe was such an amazing experience! As a couple wanting to get a dachshund, it was a great way to get to know some pups and see how they interact with humans and other dogs. We will definitely be coming again, thank you pup cafe 🩷

We’ve been to pup up a few times at different venues and always had such a wonderful experience. Well organised, fun and safe for our dachshunds. Our two always have such a great time socialising and playing in a safe environment. Great to talk with other dachshund owners and make friends for social walks.

Amazing experience for me an my dog we both loved every minute would recommend anybody with a pup that likes mixing to go the best day ever
