I’ve adopted 4 cats from here and every time it has been a 5⭐️ experience! The kittens arrive healthy and happy and have brought so much joy to our lives!

Kim was super helpful throughout the process. She answered all my questions and provided all the documents we requested! We hit one hurdle during the adoption, but Kim worked it out. The kitty is beautiful and everything we hoped for. I would use them again.

We had a fantastic experience working with Purebred in adopting our Maine Coon kitten. We looked forward to our weekly videos until our little guy arrived. He arrived healthy and playful. For a peace of mind when looking to adopt go with this company and avoid having stress worrying about being scammed.

Process was smooth. Kitten was in great health. Would adopt again from them!

Kitten looks just like the picture. Great communication. Kitten seems healthy. My only complaint is that I feel it’s over priced. We love our new kitten. He’s very loving and well trained.

I purchased my kitten from Purebred Kitties in March 2025. The company is based in the USA, but the breeder was from Ukraine.

While my kitten was still in Ukraine and before he was delivered to me, I asked for medical documentation for both the kitten and his parents. I assumed I would receive this information during that time so I would know his medical status before receiving him. Despite requesting this in advance, I never received any medical records for the kitten or his parents PRIOR delivery which should be standard when purchasing a kitten.

I also asked before delivery to have my kitten’s name changed in his passport. I was told this would be done. When I received the passport, the name had not been changed. After contacting Kim, I was first told it would be fixed, and then I was told to contact the breeder myself to request the change. I do not believe this should have been the buyer’s responsibility.

Regarding delivery, I specifically asked in advance if they truly deliver in February, and I was told yes. However, my delivery was postponed multiple times due to “weather conditions.” I had already taken time off work and rearranged my schedule several times to be available for pickup, which resulted in lost work hours and unnecessary stress.

I also want to mention that while many reviews describe Kim as very nice, my experience was different when it came to important issues. She was polite, but when I raised serious concerns about health, documentation, and delivery problems, I felt professionally ignored rather than supported.

Health problems started almost immediately. On the second day after bringing him home, I had to take him to the vet because he presented with vomiting, diarrhea, and inappetence. I contacted Purebred Kitties, and despite the symptoms, I was told it was just stress from relocation. (no it wasn't)

Within a couple of weeks, he developed eye problems and was diagnosed first with conjunctivitis, which later progressed to uveitis and now appears to be chronic.

Gastrointestinal problems have continued since then, and in October he also began having episodes of blood in his stool, which led to further veterinary visits and testing. More recently, an ultrasound showed enlarged intestinal lymph nodes, and he continues to have chronic gastrointestinal issues, including abnormal stool and poor appetite. We are still in the process of diagnostics.

Because these problems began within days of delivery and have continued over many months, I do not agree with the statement that he was fully healthy at the time of sale.

I also expect that the company may respond with an apology and ask me to contact them privately. However, I did reach out earlier regarding medical records, delivery delays, and health concerns, and those issues were not resolved at the time when support would have mattered most. My review reflects my real experience and my cat’s documented medical history.

These are serious medical concerns that appeared very early in his life and are not what you expect when purchasing a kitten advertised as healthy and vet-checked. The emotional stress and financial burden of repeated veterinary visits have been significant.

I love my cat very much and will always take care of him, but I regret trusting the promises made regarding health screening, documentation, and customer support. I strongly advise future buyers to be extremely cautious, insist on receiving full medical records before purchase, and understand that follow-up support may be limited after you receive your kitten.

I was hesitant at first purchasing a kitten unseen but the adoption specialists made it a very easy process. I was looking for a specific color kitten that they did not have on the site and they were able to find one for me. I’ve had my kitten for about two weeks now and he’s the sweetest and most loving kitten ever. I would definitely recommend Purebred Kitties

I had great experiences with Purebred Kitties all the way from my first conversation with a pre-adoption specialist to the moment I met my new kitten a few weeks later. Everything was very aboveboard, pressure-free, and most importantly, my Siberian kitten arrived healthy and happy, eager to interact with people, play, and be loved. He got a clean bill of health from the vet and he’s adapting well to life at his new home!

My cat has Tritrichomonas and came from Ukraine when it listed the breeder in California. The cat arrived sick and traumatized from all the travel. It's been a month since I've had him and his health has only gotten worse and worse. I paid $4000 to get a sick cat and have spent close to $3000 to try and make him better.

Update: While the company replied to this review pretty quickly, I promptly emailed them again following up with it, and they've yet to respond two weeks later. They're acting like they're providing support following this review and are continuing to not handle this situation whatsoever.

I was very pleased with my experience, from the initial conversation to my interaction with James, the flight nanny.
I love my kitty and she is just beautiful. She was well cared for from the beginning,I could tell! She is healthy and she warmed up within the first 24 hours. Now she is my little princess and LOVES to snuggle! Thank you!

Lot of people say scam but i received a perfectly good main coon kitten. Maybe it depends on the breeders. She wasnt scared when i first got her from the airport, she was friendly and still is very friendly.

I would not recommend getting a kitten from this website. The communication was very inconsistent throughout the entire process. We fell in love Zane, a Bengal cat that was nine months old. I knew he was coming from the Ukraine. In what should have been a one week turnaround he was held at their center for almost six weeks. Every update in videos they sent us while he was at their facility in the US was of a very scared and sad kitty, not the playful kitty in original videos, which broke our heart. Due to the heat of the summer, we ended up having to have a flight nanny bring him from the east coast to St.Louis. I justified the extra cost thinking that the cat would be happier being inside the passenger part of the plane versus cargo. When my children and I met the kitty at airport arrivals, he was very upset and hissed at us immediately in his carrier. He was clearly traumatized. We gave this kitty all the love and space we could trying to follow the 3-3-3 rule. It has been five months and he will still not let us pet him and he's still skiddish. He is clearly very scared of humans and had a horrible experience coming to live with us. This was not a kitty like you would adopt at a pet shelter. I'm hoping that over time he will learn to not fear us.But i'm not sure he ever will overcome his trauma. He is a beautiful cat and healthy (as far as I know, but I can't confirm that, as I can't get him into a carrier, to take him to a vet). I would strongly caution anyone with young children about using this company as this has not been a great experience for my kids or for me. Definitely not worth over three thousand dollars I spent.

PurebredKittens.com is a terrible company and I feel completely scammed. The moment they got my deposit, communication stopped for over two weeks. I had to hunt them down just to get an update. Their rep “Eric” told me the kitten was being spayed at their Delaware facility and would ship in early January 2026.

That turned out to be a lie.

A week later they finally sent a video showing the kitten with a tooth growing sideways. My vet said it could become a serious problem and might even grow into the cat’s upper lip. So of course I cancelled—no one wants a future medical issue sprung on them right before shipping.

Then I noticed the outlet in the video was European. When I confronted them, they admitted the kitten wasn’t in Delaware at all. It was coming from Europe the entire time. They lied about the location, the timeline, and the condition of the kitten.

Even with a “health guarantee,” they refused to refund my deposit. They purposely wait until the last minute to show a health problem, knowing most people will feel trapped.

Do not buy from this company. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and will steal your money while hiding key information. Avoid PurebredKittens.com at all costs.
