PurePods Avis 68

I love pure pods and have been using them for years!
I recently changed to an under sink filter system but forgot to cancel my subscription.
Daniel was very quick and courteous resolving this and providing a refund

Our water area is hard so I like to use filtered water. We started off using the pods from the supermarket, but we try and do the good thing and recycle where we can. We found Pure pods and love them. We were very disappointed when they were sold out a month or so ago. Kept trying and finally got some more

I found it difficult to buy the product without entering into using a subscription.
Eventually after much searching online I was able to make an outright purchase.

I bought these pods because I like the idea of just replacing the filter medium, thus reducing plastic waste. However, the rate of filtration is abysmally slow. The original brita cartridge was taking 12 minutes to filter a full funnel, with one of these pods installed, I've got timings between 20 and 25minutes!
That's all for the same filter. I'm having to filter water in advance of my needs and store it in my fridge.
And, yes, I prepared the filter medium exactly as per instructions. I've backslashes the medium, massaged it under water (in case trapped air is preventing filtration), I've even banged the jug down a few times to dislodge any bubbles that may have formed during filling (I've been here before with other brands of filter pods.
I keep looking at the underside filters that attach directly to my existing but they are still a touch pricy

I've had really annoying issues with using my Brita jugs. I have had to buy extra equipment. To fit into the jugs to make them compatible. They just broke on trying to fit them. Annoyingly poor compatibility. I would have been better off buying Brita filters. My commitment to the environment has cost me a fortune

So easy to use less waste very great friendly for the environment

I ordered the pure pods to replace the brita maxtra cartridges and so far happy with them, tea and coffee taste great! fast delivery too, thank you

Good apart from when I pour out, the cartridge moves!!!

It does not fit into my brittas jug and it was very complicated fitting it. Not at all impressed

Would’ve been 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the fact that each filter was wrapped in its own plastic bag which seems to negate the whole point of buying recyclable or replaceable biodegradable filters. Just a little disappointed in the use of additional plastic when sending these items out.

Really disappointed, ordered a 6 refill pack online and after querying a "delivery" text which turned out to be spam I was Informed they had no stock and wouldn't be able to dispatch for another week. Whilst there was no indication the order would be completed quickly there also wasn't anything to indicate it would take so long. Now I have asked to cancel & have a refund I've had no response.
In reply to their reply - you didn't even acknowledge my refund request so how would I know?
