Amazing experience from start to…
Amazing experience from start to finish. There were introduction emails and follow up emails and a call once all was completed.
It was a quick turn around and I was contacted very quickly with questions on how I’d like my CV tailored.
All updates an suggestions were taken on board and implemented quickly.
I got a follow up after sales call which was nice.
I would complexly recommend, my CV just wows me now and it’s got a brilliant look and feel to it. They know what they’re doing!

Mixed experiences
I had mixed experiences with Purple CV. The first draft of my CV was a great upgrade from my old one, and the final version is professional, comprehensive and something I am genuinely pleased with. Matthew also kept me informed about when to expect revised drafts, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the process itself was frustrating and fell below what I expected from the specialist package. There appeared to be a lack of attention to detail and quality control throughout. Changes I requested in emails were frequently missed, and I had to ask three times for the colours to be changed to match my branding. Later drafts contained errors, including missing bullet points and misaligned text, which should have been picked up before being sent to a client. To be fair, Matthew did apologise for these errors when they were highlighted.
I also paid for a cover letter and LinkedIn profile. However, the final versions did not align with the final CV and had to be rewritten, creating additional delays. Communication with Matthew felt impersonal and formulaic, which made the process more frustrating when issues arose.
Overall, I am happy with the final product, but it took around three weeks to get there. While the end result was good, the journey was unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating and did not feel like the premium service I had paid for.

Emma from Purple CV contacted me to discuss my review and the aspects of the service that I was dissatisfied with. She was extremely apologetic and keen to understand how they could make amends. I explained that, although I was very pleased with the final CV, the difficulties I experienced during the process, had left me hesitant to recommend Purple CV to others.
I mentioned that a colleague had recently seen my CV and was interested in having her own CV professionally revamped. However, given my experience with the process, I felt unable to wholeheartedly recommend the service despite being happy with the end result.
In response, Emma was very understanding and generously offered my colleague a 50% discount on their service. This would allow my colleague to experience Purple CV for herself and provide an opportunity to demonstrate that the issues I encountered were not representative of their usual standards. I am very happy with this resolution.

Experience was very poor
Experience was very poor. Spent time reviewing different CV writing websites and based on the positive reviews decided to select PurpleCV which has been a mistake.
The experience has been very underwhelming to say the least. Paid for the express service wasn’t delivered on time which resulted in me missing a key job I was applying for. The actual CV is worse than what I had originally written. The CV is very poorly written CV, with the author just basically copying and pasting my CV information into a new format and sending it back. So what I have I actually paid for???? Complete waste of money not sure where the CV writer is from but communication has been poor and in personal. Could have been talking to a bot for all I know. Please refund me, I’ve had to rewrite the CV myself.

Thanks to purple CV I was able to take my CV documentation to an advance level. My cover letter was also promptly fixed and so my LinkedIn profile.
A member of the team got back to me so promptly and supported me with getting my CV updated to the highest standard. I applied for an internship role after acquiring my updated CV and in less than 24 hours companies reached out to me and I landed an internship role in Talent Management.
