Speedy dispatch and delivery
Speedy dispatch and delivery. Well packaged. I find the price works out expensive for me with 10 cats as 1 scoop to 100g of meat when one preps 1.5 kg a day is a lot. Then delivery on top. Shame that there is not an option to buy in bigger quantities ie a big tub or a discount for buying in bulk. Or even free delivery for larger orders. On this occasion I made use of a Christmas 10% off which helped a lot. That's my only gripe as I have confidence in the product. It is a little low in choline and as with must completers, low in omega but easy to rectify. However that does add to the cost. No completer is ever going to be completely purfect though. My fussy cats had no issues switching to this product.

Looked at Purrform for my cats
Looked at Purrform for my cats. Picked the trial pack at £17.79 and added to my basket to try. I was to be charged £11.60 DPD for postage. This is expensive, and a put off for any new customer . I already buy dog food from a reputable trust pilot reviewed company which comes frozen to my freezer , justifying 12 pouches cat food for £29 when £11.60 of that is postage is pricey so I’ve removed the item from my basket and decided too expensive and I don’t scrape the budget on my pets health

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we completely understand why the delivery cost on a smaller, trial-sized order can feel off-putting, especially for new customers.
As our food is raw and frozen, all orders must be sent on a next-day frozen delivery service. To ensure it arrives safely frozen, we use well-insulated packaging and ice sheets, which unfortunately adds to the cost. This same specialist packaging is required regardless of the size of the order.
All parcels are delivered via DPD, and the delivery charge is passed on directly and transparently to our customers. DPD charge a flat rate for parcels up to 20kg, which means the delivery cost is the same for a trial pack as it is for a much larger order. Because of this, trial packs can appear less cost-effective compared to larger orders — something we appreciate can be frustrating.

I don't know what I would do without this company. The difference it has made to my cats health and wellbeing is enormous. I am very happy with the service, the range of products and the quality of the ingredients, plus its specifically tailored for cats so I know they are getting what they need. My 18 year old cat has suffered with IBD for many years. He reacted to chicken, beef, fish and any other meat I tried. Purrform offered rabbit as a novel protein, raw, with nothing else added. Result - no more bloody diarrhoea and a happier cat.

My Maine coon loves this stuff and particularly loves the rabbit versions as its all he will eat. I have been using purrform for many years my previous cat before him loved raw food as well. I have only positive things to say about this compnay. Customer service is great and you can choose delivery date and if a problem occurs they sort it out quickly. i love that its human grade meat and free from the nasty stuff.

Your customers are real people
We have been customers personally for quite some time. I have had issues with their customer service on a number of occasions.
Before Christmas (having been caught out before with the “final delivery” date, I ordered in plenty of time. Left the parcel sealed in a walk in freezer. Opened the parcel to discover that the entire order of kitten weaner was wrong.
Obviously I knew I would get no response over Christmas. I emailed anyway. I had to drive two hours in each direction to buy some from elsewhere.
I also ordered more for the first delivery available in January.
It cost me an awful lot more than it should.
I haven’t had an apology. I have had no offer of compensation. I haven’t even had a courtesy phone call. Just an abrupt email saying “picker error!”
I have sent the product back. If I didn’t have a sick cat with FIP that will only eat this, I would find another company. The product is nice. The customer service is not in line with the product. Sadly.

The only food my cat will eat
I always get a great service from purrform. The food my cat loves and will only eat. Yesterday 9th Jan i was a little worried with the delivery due to the snow. But it turned out even though was a little late out of hourly slot my parcel got delivered safely which was a relief.

Company sent us a 10% discount. When we placed an order we couldn’t apply this despite being within the offer period.
The company failed to respond to initial complaint via the website and only eventually replied after a complaint email was sent.
They refused to honour the 10% after the order was placed and simply told us to place another order.

The Website is easy to navigate
The Website is easy to navigate, it is a bit cluttered though. Checkout can be hit-and-miss especially if you have a discount code like Birthday or Loyalty points. It’s not clear that only one code can be used, though fairly obvious. Once logged in, a list of the codes available would be useful, we have four cats with four birthdays, keeping track of which codes are still ‘active’ is messy. Probably a general ‘loyalty discount’ would be cleaner, other pet suppliers use this method, if individual sales drives are needed, one-off price cuts on individual products would work. Delivery with DPD usually works well. A set delivery charge would possibly work better than the present percentage charge, £5 ish would seem reasonable. As the products are fairly high value, free delivery over say, £200 would encourage larger orders, the product does store in a freezer so buying a few extra tubs wouldn’t create storage issues. Our cats eat 10x tubs every 3 weeks, so 30 or 40 tubs doesn’t last very long.

Literally Life Changing Product
I’ve been a PurrForm customer for a couple of years now, and it’s not an exaggeration to say it has been life changing. I have two female Maine Coons, both 5 years old, one of whom has some intimidating intolerances and was incredibly ill for the first 3 years of her life. She flirted with death a couple of times in 2023 and I was at the end of my ability to cope. I have a great vet and after a half day in hospital, many tests and scans, it was confirmed that her gastrointestinal system was so inflamed it looked like she was full of kids party balloons (I was already working with her intolerances at this point, and didn’t know what else to try). I had been trying to get her onto raw food with no luck.
Enter PurrForm. It took a while, she isn’t a lover of change, but she ultimately took to the Duck & Turkey Premium pouch (because of course a premium range, bougie floof). She had become such a frequent flyer at my vet he was genuinely giving me a frequent visitor discount. In the summer of 2023 it was not uncommon for her to be there 2-3 times a week. Once the PurrForm bedded in toward the end of 2023… everything changed.
From 2024, she became a different cat. She had always been a skinny Maine Coon, even though she had a long and tall frame. Across 2024 she gained 2kg and had ZERO VET VISITS. In fact she has been ill ONCE in 2 years. She is absolutely huge, nudging 9kg now, but not fat, just the solid cat her frame was meant to be.
She went from a skinny, sickly animal costing me thousands, to a massive and stunning cat who is a picture of health. I went from someone suffering clinical stress and constant anticipatory grief, to someone who wasn’t. The past two years have been the most unbelievable and significant change to both my life and hers.
PurrForm changed our lives. This food is incredibly high quality, super conveniently packaged, expertly delivered and their customer service is exceptional. I cannot truly encapsulate the difference this product has made to the lives of one Maine Coon and one human. I buy 10 boxes a month, 120 a year, and it is worth every single penny.

I feed raw on a rotation, using different brands on different days, and Purrform has been consistently excellent. The range makes rotation easy and all of my cats LOVE it🐈

Great raw for ferrets
Always great quality raw food that is packaged beyond excellence. I actually buy for ferrets rather than felines and they love it. Raw diet best for ferrets but it can be difficult transitioning them from dry to raw. With this good, I have successfully moved five over, which shows a good quality food that's appreciated by them.
