Quality Caravan Awnings Avis 

I recently purchased a Savannah seasonal awning for our twin axil caravan. On unpacking it we realised to our delight that the quality far exceeded our expectations. Having also decided to purchase some extras we contacted the company who were very obliging and sent us our requirements within a few days. I would recommend anyone looking for quality and value for money to buy from this company. We certainly be using them again.

Due to the virus we haven’t been able to put it up but the quality looks amazing, comes with a brilliant bag for it, we had problems with the delivery company but the awning company was brilliant and resolved it straight away, perfect customer service.

Quality Caravan Awnings are a great company who provide friendly, quick and helpful service without long waits. I needed help several times with my purchase and I received a quick, helpful and personal response every time. Delivery was quick and payment easy. Their prices could not be beaten anywhere else.

We purchased an outdoor revolution air awning which proved to have a clear design fault. Within 30 days of making our purchase we emailed Quality Caravan Awnings with evidence of the fault and asked for a replacement / refund. The customer service was none existing, despite us clearly telling them they were in breach of the Consumer Acts Right, they refused to offer either a replacement or a refund. We received an email advising us that their final position was that this product could not be returned as it had been used and that they couldn't assist us any further. Even though the item was faulty and I was well within my rights to receive a refund. We are now taking them to court to try and recover our money but we doubt we will have much joy given that these people seem to operate out of a bedroom. Please avoid at all costs.

Bought a drive-away awning of this company in June. Came quickly and looked very good in all its packaging. Tested it in July and found that one of the inflates le pillars was faulty, stitching had failed on of one of the panels and water came through the roof of the awning. It was quickly apparent that this company and Outdoor Revolution had no intention of honouring the guarantee. The manufacturers actually said it was supposed to leak and the other faults were not addressed just a 5% discount offered which has been turned down. Nothing heard from either company since. Will get my money back through Section 75. Before you buy from this company, consider this; Quality Caravan Awnings operates out of a virtual office, they do not stock any items. These will come direct from manufacturer. They do not answer the phone as a matter of policy and only answer emails if it is of benefit to them. Their feedback both on their website and Facebook is controlled to make sure they only have 5* reviews which I suspect are not genuine. If you want an awning or any caravan equipment, don’t make the mistake we made and go to somewhere that stocks what you want.

QCA USES A THIRD PARTY FOR PAYMENTS WHICH MEANS YOU CANT EASILY PURSUE A SECTION 75 BUT YOU CAN GET A CHARGEBACK IF THEY REFUSE TO HONOUR THEIR COMMITMENTS. WE DID AND HAVE NOW GOT A FULL REFUND. TRY THIS BEFORE SMALL CLAIMS.
