Great MOT service
Cannot fault anything about the service I received here. Car went in for MOT at 8am and was out about an hour later. Reasonable price paid and local to me so an absolute bonus.

Friendly and professional service
I got an appointment for MOT the very next day online which was confirmed quickly. No waiting on arrival and greeted by a friendly and courteous colleague. All went smoothly and I was informed of the work needed doing before anything was carried out. Same great service upon collection of my vehicle.

Excellent, professional & honest service
Cannot recommend Neil and his team highly enough. I had a problem with my van which turned out to be the result of a botched job by another garage - they showed me exactly what had happened and talked me through the options clearly and honestly, helping me to keep costs down without compromising safety.

Disappointed
Efficient, polite, covid secure. Fitted me in next day when I rang, and I had my car back the same day. Prices seemed fair for work done and kept in touch throughout.
Update 4 weeks later :
Spent nearly £200 here to get my car fixed and was initially happy but four weeks later it had to go back there with the same problem. And this time they have found more issues that weren't there apparently the first time round. Due to covid I haven't even driven the car much since it was repaired.
Seems to me like they are on the lookout to find additional things to charge you for e.g. replacing bulbs and changing oil. Probably OK for simple jobs and MOT but they are not set up for doing any work that does not involve replacing parts, which is obviously more expensive to the customer.
On this second occasion I brought the car in at 8am. I rang at 1pm as no-one had got in touch to confirm any diagnosis. An hour later I had to ring back again and eventually I got a call back to say a mechanic had looked at my car.
I explicitly said both times that as the car is old I wouldn't be looking to spend a lot of money on it as I would be replacing it instead. Now I have spent £200 and put a full tank of petrol in, and amount they are quoting to fix it second time round plus the new additional issues is more than the car is worth !
I am very disappointed in the service I have received. It was an emergency at the time so I was grateful they could could fit me in, but I should have stuck to my usual garage.
Further Update: I had my car repaired at my usual garage. It did not need the work doing that Quick Lane proposed, and neither did it cost more than my car is worth. I have had no further response from Quick Lane at all.

Quick Lane - Gorton - Brake Disc's, Pad's, & Sensors
Great Experience - Quick Lane Tyre & Autocentre Gorton
Contacted Quick Lane on 18/02/21 at the new premises in Gorton to enquirer about a price for replacement discs pads and sensors or possible options available.
I was quoted two prices (standard or sports) subject to an inspection and advised of all option available over the phone.
I dropped the car off and left with them to progress the inspection i was then contacted back very shortly after and agreed for the works to progress as quoted.
All work was completed the same day at the price quoted and i am more than happy with the work completed, all involved were professional i would happily recommend to friends, family, etc, and will be considering them again for all future works.
Keep up the good work guys and say safe.
