Brilliant company, very thorough and completed the task as requested.
Communication was very good and attended in time.

We got Quietco to sound insulate our lounge in Jan 2023. We live in a 1940s semi and really wanted a sanctuary in the house where we could entertain, play a bit of music, children could have violin lessons etc....all without annoying the person who lives next door. As someone who is quite sensitive to noise, I am always worrying about inflicting my noise on others! The work was carried out diligently and to an exceptional standard. The Quietco team are all lovely people + conscientious, skilled tradesmen and I was updated multiples times a day, throughout the 2 week job, via photos in a group whatsapp chat. Nearly 2 years later I can say the project has been a big success and the room feels much more private and we are much more relaxed about making a bit of noise in there. We are lucky not to have a noisy neighbour, but if we did we would definitely seek advice from Quietco about sound insulating the rest of the house.

I spoke to Jim for an hour after just filling in a form requesting contact. Wow, such great advice and information. I feel that there is a way forward with my house now and I’m incredibly grateful for Jim spending the time with me. Once I decide on a strategy to tackle the issues then I’ll definitely be using Jim’s services

We were really pleased with the out come of the soundproofing in our living room and bedroom. We do not hear anymore of our neighbours tv or dogs barking in living room and it has been greatly reduced in the bedroom. We received daily updates/photos of what was happening and at the end of each day we received a video of the door being locked so had piece of mind that the house was secure.

We had a consultation with Quietco for soundproofing our house. They were first class - huge amount of knowledge and insight and extremely professional. They were incredibly candid and honest - ultimately advising us that we were better off implementing some smaller scale, easy changes that we could do ourselves, rather than engaging Quietco. A great company!

I contacted Quietco about the options for quietening down a neighbours heat pump exhaust which is noisy close to our bedroom. Jim responded with an excellent video laying out these options and talking through the why's and wherefores of the issue. On a Sunday! Provided mw with web links for everything he mentioned. Superb help even though Quietco can't do the job as Swansea is not in their area. Top man Jim, many thanks indeed...

After a lot of deliberation we took the decision to install sound proofing in our semi-detached cottage. Having taken the decision we began researching sound proofing companies and QuietCo seemed to tick all the right boxes. We contacted them and were immediately impressed by their Knowledge and enthusiasm for their products and solutions.
Following Jim’s consultation we were given detailed recommendations and timeframe of the project. The work was carried out professionally and on time by Tom and his team with regular updates throughout so we knew how things were progressing which was very reassuring.

Making the decision to get professional soundproofing was a big financial decision for us to make.

After moving from flat where neighbour below played heavy bass whilst we had to work from home due to Covid we then moved to terrace house where neighbours tv was mounted to the party wall chimney and occasional very loud music from bedroom that you could hear in every room. Having our living room soundproofed so we can have just one room that we knew we can have more quiet and feel some level of privacy was something I believed was worth trying.

The Quiet Co experience and customer service has been brilliant, any fear of being pressured in to making a quick decision about a high quality service didn't exist. From having a quick call to then speaking to Matt and then having consultation with Jim, I never felt any pressure to commit to anything, after my consultation with Jim I believe it was a few weeks before we then contacted him to say we would like the works done.

The service level we have experienced is the best I've ever experienced. We were lucky in some ways as newly moving in to house we were doing up, that having our living room soundproofed coincided with us wanting to redecorate but features we liked like our fireplaces they insured would be put pack how it was before. Say if we wanted an extra plug this was absolutely no problem. Considering we were having our walls, ceilings and floors changed and then replastered I didn't find the works being done at all stressful, everything was coordinated and organised for me such as the electricians, plumbers, carpet fitters and plasterers. I simply let people in at the beginning of the day who were friendly and very efficient and at the end of the day everything was tidied away.

Hearing loud and consistent noise from neighbours has really left me very sensistive to intrusive sounds, and sound proofing was an investment that we made for home which no one would be able to even notice. I can 100% say I have no regrets with our decision, even though we knew there was no guarantee about the exact result there is a difference. Seeing the layers and quality of the material go up I feel reasurred that Quiet Co are experts at what they do and the techniques used are better than anything I've seen when I exploring all our options for soundproofing.

I would like to say a big thank to the Quietco team. I really felt my house was in good hands and I had no qualms in waking away and leaving you to it.

It became apparent early on that I would not be able to progress an order with Quietco, however that didn't stop Matt from still spending a good bit of time with me to discuss my own personal soundproofing issue, which was very much appreciated. This was the first sound proofing project we did. It seemed it bit daunting at first after looking online at the various different solutions that were out there. So from searching for a local soundproofing firm we came across Jim at Quietco Ltd. We used him for an hour consultation to convert a detached house into 2 semi's. From start to finish they were brilliant. We were given easy to understand expert advice which allowed us to carryout the works ourselves as we are in the building trade. Also because we're living in one of the semi's ourselves we wanted to go for a more solid sound proofing solution. After the consultation we had a clear idea of what needed to be done and what sort of output we would get from it. Jim also sourced some of the materials to us that we needed to sound proof a toilet waste pipe as it ran along the hall way ceiling which we wrapped insulated and boxed out. Today we had the sound test carried out from Quietco Ltd and it passed well over the required guidelines. So would highly recommend Jim and his team to anyone seeking advise or work to sound proof there homes.

I spoke with Matt today, without doubt he was excellent - he listened attentively and wanted to first understand my noise issues before providing guidance. The next steps were clearly laid out, and I'll take up Matt's offer for a zoom call to get a better understanding on the scale of work at hand. Assuming my lease allows for the modifications, I'm very much minded to give quietco the job.
