Rusty Wallace Racing Experience Avis 1 945

I had a gift given to me to do the driving experience along with my 2 sons which is never driven a race car the youngest could only do the Ride along due to the age limit. All I can say is they come with what equipment they have they do the best that they can with their equipment this is not a dig they did an excellent job. In fact 2 lapsinto it they made me come in because I didn't purchase the insurance and they noticed I was getting on the race car quite a bit. They explain to you firmly that if you smash it up and don't get the insurance you pay ,they also explain to you if you get hurt or killed it is at your own discretion. So if you enter this thinking it's someone else's fault it's your own. Sorry just had to get that out I read one of the bad reviews and it was totally bogus. I will say this my son come out of there now wanting to race a race car he had a great time it was the most fun he's ever had, he's a college student right now and I see he probably will be back again to drive again. And as for me I got my butt chewed but they let me go back out and finish and I gave it all she got for what tires it had on it and let me just tell you it was the most fun I hadn't been in a race car in over 25 years. so thank you guys for coming up to Lee New Hampshire and bringing that close to the northern New England! I recommend it I've done other racing schools in the past by far this one was pretty good I'm sure there's more in the South that are competitive but for here that was great. oh yeah purchase the insurance I actually did for my son it's well worth it.. it's only sixty bucks with $1,000 deductible.

Val and Bailey will be some of the team you meet first. They are wonderful. I was injured and had to re-sched and Val was so wonderful to work with. I asked if I would see her at track day, she said no but Bailey would be there. I though too bad because Val was so fun and helpful on the phone. She said Bailey would be great... well on track day, Baily was fantastic, cheerful, fun, helpful... just happy to serve kinda person. Wow what a team.
The class instructor was like my flight instructor in the Marines. He was professional, acurate, and confidence inspiring. You will be ready if you listen to him. Also he had a great sense of humor in his instruction... great one liners.
The whole crew reminded my of a carrier launch, they suite you up, fit the seat, belt you up, do safety and com check,,, then ready for launch.
You are alone in the car with the track boss in your ear... amazing fun and it is like real racing. If you know what a racing line is, for sure buy the ride along.

For some of use this was the second time, Dover was the first (wow). This time to Charlotte, with a bit bigger group. Seven of use were your guests and I think I can speak for all by saying it was a very good time. The instruction was everything it needed to be. The "Rookies in our group did the ride arounds and getting out of the cars with big smiles. The standard cars are stock cars with crate engines with HP on par with most exotics. These are not your custom fit to the driver cars but they do their best to put in a car that fits you. They are also not the most comfortable cars to be in. But these are race cars not your Sunday go to meeting, AC, soft seats and stereo blasting grocery getters. But these are far more fun. 16 laps at speed ( you will not equal the pace of the Sunday 9000 rpm pros) what a great package. From check in, through school to suiting up, to getting in the car and out on the track so much help. With seven to eight cars and only a couple more people than a standard pit crew they work hard at making your visit go smoothly. And as with any race car there is the possibility of hiccups ( one of our party had a car that got stuck in gear but they got him on the track). Next time the going for the COT.... need save up for that one.... The only thing I can say if you get the chance Do It there is only one thing better......

Just returned from bristol, what an experience. Staff 5 star, Art the instructor 5 star instructor. The entire day was well organized. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the video purchased. It was very week. No telemetry at all. Most people are wanting to know "how fast did you go?" " how many seconds around Bristol? Well I dont know because a $70 video was filmed on a $2 set up.needs improvement but other than that the 30 laps were awesome.

While doing the ride along the Professional driver crashed the car. I suffered with neck pain and bruises. I asked for refund only for my horrible experience and I'm still waiting. My emails are being ignored. Please use extreme caution when paying for The Rusty Wallace driving experience

I had an awesome experience at the Michigan International Speedway!
The staff was very courteous and safety conscious. Definitely a very good family experience! The cars were awesome!

I enjoyed the driving at Lancaster but it could have been better . The cars were advertised as super late models, They were not. They were older ordinary late models. The orientation class was maybe 10 minutes covering mainly seat belts, window nets, and helmets. Contrary to what their literature said, it didnt cover flags - there wasnt even a flagman,. Nothing was mentioned about leaving and entering track, or passing. Soon after starting my drive I was about to pass a slower car and the spotter told me I could not until cleared by spotter. It took a few repetitions because the ear pieces were so bad I could only hear a bunch of garbles. Same way when I entered track and also when I was told to pit at end of my run. I had to guess what he might be saying. Added to starting 90 minutes late and there was some frustration.

Was at Riverhead today on long island NY... Had a great time..People were great

MIS Race Track on 7/14/19, Art the driving instructor gave a perfect lesson that was very helpful and easy to follow once I was in the car by myself. Can't wait to get this experience as a gift again.

Great experience. Disappointed the video didn't come out. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I just thought it was important to post our experience even though we did not even get on the track. We had a tornado come thru Kaukauna, Wisconsin and cancelled our experience ,but want to acknowledge Ashely and staff in professionalism in handling of the situation. Look forward to rescheduling.

This was my 6th time with the company out at MIS and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I did the Championship package this time around. Its well worth the price when you get into that machine! Being a former short track driver, I found it well set up and plenty of power if your looking for a pressed back into your seat kind of experience. My only criticism is, although he was a great spotter, I wish he would've been clearer on passing. I felt like he was allowing me to go for it and pass folks on my own, but I was hesitant due to the instructor making it clear to not pass without permission. I also, didn't want to upset the drivers in the other cars because you are significantly faster. MUCH FASTER. You better be looking way into the turn and all the way down the straights, not just over the hood.
All in all a great day! Thanks for letting me relive some former glory. LOL

It was a lot of fun I'd really recommend to do the ride along for the first few laps and then drive the remaining laps on your own.

Did this for my Dad for Father’s Day. Once in a lifetime experience! He will never forget! Could not have asked for anything better. Thank you!!!!

They cancelled the event due to threatened weather of rain. The make up was slated for Christmas. 6 months later? I would not recommend anyone spend there money here.

Great fun! MIS was well organized and the whole experience only took 2-1/2 hours. Only gripes; everyone want to know how fast they went! Like to see that recorded somewhere. Also my spotter wasn’t very helpful. Would have liked him to give me more input during my laps. Literally only heard from 2-3 times in my 6 laps. But overall very good experience!

Great experiance, well layed out, would have hoped for a better fit to the car. Hence 4 instead 5 stars. Very knoweldgable staff great fun even for an ex racer. Newton is a great venue for this opertunity.
