Railfutures Avis

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on this course including both the theory and practical aspects of it. Couldn’t have asked for a better tutor to help us through this course, Jalal (our tutor) did a very good job in ensuring each and every one of us was up to speed with the knowledge and no one was falling behind, his additional knowledge of the occupation was extremely helpful in not only how to obtain work after the course but in which directions to strive to develop your career in the industry. Having employers visit to give us an idea of what work would be like was extremely helpful in addition we had a former student who was previously in our position talk to us and show us his path and the tickets etc he has obtained in the year he has been in this line of work this was great eye opener as to what can be achieved with the qualifications obtained by this course. The additional support from the college itself was very helpful.Kimberly Sayers has been open to all questions and queries showing great professionalism and punctuality when it came to communication between sponsors and getting that information to us as students as quick as possible. Overall great course with amazing people to teach it.

Great teacher Great advice thankyou jalal.

Jalal Ahmed is approachable tutor full of knowledge, he was like a friend to all students during the course. I enjoyed the course specially the practical side of it. the college helped us and provided everything we needed for the course. Will recommend this course and Jalal Ahmed.

Jalal did such a great job with teaching us. He’s extremely patient and always ensures that everyone understands the learning. I’m extremely grateful for having him as my tutor and I would recommend anyone to take part in this course.

My tutor, Jalal, was very knowledgeable and supportive. His attitude and compassion towards every student was amazing.
I looked forward to every day of the course because of Jalal's sense of humour and charisma.
I would also like to thank Kim who diligently supported our class with all the admin and paperwork.

I attended this level 2 training after being recommended by a friend our teacher jalal was very helpful and understanding wouldn’t have gotten nearly as far as I have in the course if it wasn’t for him

Attend this because of a friend and have enjoyed this course got on with the other students and jalal Ahmed was a great funny support and understanding teacher very fair and approachable with any issues definitely a overall great 5 star experience

I had the pleasure of being taught by Jalal on my PTS railway course, and he was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of the subject was excellent, and he explained everything clearly, making sure we fully understood. His communication skills were great, and he made the course easy to follow while keeping it engaging. He was also very approachable and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, Jalal is a brilliant teacher, and I would highly recommend him to anyone taking the course.

Exceptional Trainer
jalal Ahmed has been an outstanding trainer throughout our railway course. His depth of knowledge and expertise—especially in areas like track safety, rules, and operational procedures—is second to none. He explains everything clearly and honestly, making even the most complex topics easy to understand.
If anyone struggles, he never moves on without making sure they fully grasp the material. His patience, communication, and teaching style create a supportive and engaging learning environment jalal truly represents the course at the highest standard.
If you’re lucky enough to have Jalal as your trainer, you’re in excellent hands. He’s a credit to the industry and to the training team. We couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you jalal .

The course was good thanks to my trainer . Long process, but eventually coming to the end thanks to everyone especially Jalal Ahmed a true kind help full individual who obviously doesn’t get the recognition needed .

From experience with rail future there’s not a better teacher that you can ask for than jalal Ahmed through the way he delivers the course to the depth he goes into to ensure your success in the course wouldn’t of passed without him highly recommend this course

My experience on rail futures has been amazing couldn’t recommend it more my tutor (Jalal Ahmed) was really informative and delivered the course perfectly and gave me all the knowledge needed for the railway. Joshua Browne

Coming from the Caribbean were there are no trains I thought this course would have been very hard and I wouldn't have pass but I had a great understanding teacher Mr Jalal Ahmed, his 20 years experience from the railway made the course wonderful. The practical was amazing. I jus finished my 6 weeks and can't wait to finish my safe critical training and get on the tracks

Just completed the 6 week nvq with jalal ahmed, was life changing to learn from the experience of jalal ,who was a fantastic teacher, and extremely kind and helpful, unbelievable experience, cannot wait to get on the railway, as an older fella I have experience college courses before and normally find them drab and boring, but from day 1 this course was fun and interesting I have looked forward to attending every day, jalal has made this experience really enjoyable and I'm confident in my future on the railway.

The nvq was made very easy by my instructor Jalal he was very clear and precise in his method of delivery and caters to everyone and even brought in old pupils and a company director to deliver speeches to the class…the course lasted 6 weeks but was made to feel less and now I feel confident and ready to step onto the railway….onwards and upwards

The course was a great experience and it was made easier by Jalal, he helped me and the whole class a lot and went above and beyond throughout the 6 weeks. I can’t wait to get into the railway industry and Jalal is a big reason why

The course was made very easy by Jalal, I’ve just passed my PTS and DCCR and it wouldn’t have been possible without having Jalal as a tutor, his communication is clear and he goes above and beyond to help everyone! So a big special thanks to him for everything he has done! I’d recommend anyone to take this course and to stick to it, Jalal will give you all the information you need to succeed!

My trainer Jalal Ahmed gave excellent guidance and great understanding of the course and supported me in all areas I was struggling with.

Claire and Kimberly also helped a lot with emails and forms and funding.
Couldn't have done it without them.

The course was awesome the staff at the college were wonderful and extremely helpful but it was jalal and his passion and knowledge that really made the course. Thank you jalal and would definitely recommend

Would like to thank Jalal, Kim, Claire and rail futures for the opportunity and chance given to myself. This course has played a big role into helping turn my life around and secure a great future. Jalal is a astounding tutor that was very patient in helping me learn and gave me all the support I needed. Top job thankyou so much
