My Honest Experience with Rapid PCO
My name is Irfan Ali. I want to share my recent experience with Rapid PCO to help others avoid going through what I did.
When I first contacted the team, they were very helpful and cooperative. I explained that I live in the Midlands but work in London, so I was looking for a rent-to-buy option. I specifically asked about mileage limits, and they assured me there was no mileage cap—but if I chose to return the car, extra mileage charges would apply. Based on that, I proceeded with confidence.
They requested my documents, which I promptly submitted. I was told everything was approved and that I would be getting the car. I even waited nearly two months without working because I couldn’t commit to another PCO company, as most require a minimum 3-month contract.
Eventually, I received good news from Rapid PCO: the car had arrived and I could collect it the following Tuesday. I was relieved and excited—until I got a sudden call saying they couldn’t give me the car because I live in the Midlands. This decision apparently came directly from their director.
I spoke to the director myself, and he confirmed the reason was the distance, even though I had clearly explained my situation from day one. I had called regularly, followed every instruction, and waited patiently. To be refused at the last minute after two months of waiting is completely unacceptable.
This experience has had a serious impact on me and my family. I feel I was misled and treated unfairly. The director changed the rules whenever it suited him. This is not how you treat people who are relying on your service to earn a living.
Please be careful before dealing with this company. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I went through.

I today picked up my brand new Hyundai Tucson on rent to bye I have rented from rapid for last 3 years
Rapid have now rent to bye scheme which is fantastic Wil is the managing director he sorted everything out for me with his team dieon made the paperwork easy to understand Renta sorted the vechicle documents that uber need Katy sorted the payment agreement and Sami sorted the PCO badge there are orther companies that do rent to bye but I would recommend 100% rapid nothing is to much trouble for the team
The car was immaculate all fully cleaned checked and is a fantastic car to drive I would like to say thank you to the team for all there help

Absolute fantastic service from Dionne, who has provided an amazing experience from start to finish, during the hire process and also throughout when assistance has been required.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company has the worst ethics I've ever come across. I came in to rent a car, everything was set up, just payment needed to be done. As I turned up they failed to inform me they have no card machine (bizarre) and I couldn't process a online payment as I didn't have My phone to authorise the payment. My spouse offered to pay but then the company decided to refuse to give the car to me because he offered to pay. How ridiculous! I wasted over £100 on travel that day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH A NASTY COMPANY SUCH AS RAPID. CEO WAS TOO SCARED TO CONTACT ME AS THEY KNEW THEY DID WRONG.
