Concern about marketing featuring a minor
I was disappointed to see RARR Designs share promotional content featuring a model who appears to be under 18 wearing revealing polewear in poses that I personally found sexualised.
When I raised this concern with the brand, they responded that the individual had parental consent and that the images may have been reposted from a customer account. However, the images were still shared on the brand’s own page to promote their products, which I believe carries a responsibility to avoid using minors in this type of marketing.
As a consumer, I expect brands to exercise greater responsibility when it comes to how young people are portrayed in advertising. For that reason, I would personally think twice before supporting this brand.
