good service but i would like more time to collect without penalties

Hi, I'm a car flipper and a long time user of Raw2K and their auction services.

I'd consider myself a loyal customer of Raw2K, they're the only auctioneers I've used and I'd like to continue buying from them in the future, that being said there's some issues I need to address later in this review.

This review aims to give you some insight before purchasing from Raw2K by sharing my personal experience using their services.

I've bought 4 vehicles from them and from what I've observed the cars are hit or miss.

Two of my purchased vehicles (a Vauxhall Antara and a Hyundai Coupe SIII) had generally good damage reports (with only some minor things not listed) but they didn't cost an absurd amount of money to fix.

However, my most recent purchase, a 2017 Vauxhall Astra, was described to only have minimal damage; seemingly only having cosmetic damage and high mileage. At first sight quite a profitable flip, had the company have been even somewhat honest when it described the damages.

What it failed to mention was that the engine was shaking, juddering and making a noise similar to a tractor, which is strange considering the other cars clearly state if they have engine issues.

Oh, and I should mention the Engine Management Light came on after driving less than a mile with it.

Anyways, £1500 in repairs later the problem was fixed. The timing chain was gone and so was the flywheel.

It's sad and pathetic that Raw2K lets these sellers mislead people into paying more money by allowing them to write half-truthful damage reports and masking issues until the very end. And as a cherry on top, you can't even visit and inspect the car for yourself, meaning that there is no guarantee that what you're buying is accurately damage assessed. Sellers can essentially lie about the state of a car to squeeze that extra buck out of you.

As for the other car I didn't mention, (A Vauxhall Mokka) has the exact same issue as the Astra which will cost me an additional £1000 resulting in a break even at best and a loss of £500+ at worst.

I don't really understand why tighter regulations aren't enforced to prevent predatory actions from some of these sellers in the first place, it will only damage Raw2K's reputation if sellers are continuously allowed to do this.

I'm on the verge of switching from Raw2K, they've been unreliable and the cars always have more damage than what's being disclosed. The sellers are dishonest and mask issues that would otherwise massively lower the value of their cars.

Got here just on time and the guys were so helpful by pulling my car out even though they were getting ready to go home

Fast easy services, 9 out of ten times get a decent chat walst I'm there.

They start use ai or something not possible win anything always 10£ more then my bit doesn't matter how much I bit 10£ or 100£ always 10 £ more .before always can see bit going up but now its stady no changes same price until I make bid.

Stuff broken that wasn't in the photos or listed

I bought bike from the Raw2uk Auction after I applied for v5c and after 3 weeks police came to my house and the seized the bike and they told me that auction sold me stolen bike after I send email to Auction and it’s 1 weeks still no answer from auction . Please be careful buys from Raw2k unction
