I sent my Gillette Toggle in for a tune-up service, and unfortunately it was returned with plating loss that was not there before. After I received the razor, I spoke to Matt, who said he would sort it out and cover the shipping, so I sent it back. Unfortunately, when it got back to them, the staff did not seem to know why my razor had been returned.
After multiple emails, I was told I would need to pay for a revamped service, even though the issue came after their original work. They did offer a discount on the revamped service, but that still does not change the fact that I was left paying more to resolve the issue.
Overall, I am very disappointed with how this was handled. I would never use their services again. Don’t buy into the hype from the YouTube videos — do your research before sending your razor off. If this was an heirloom piece, it is not worth the risk.
