I have Neezam to thank for originally getting onto the property ladder back in 2018, when it had previously seemed an impossible pipe dream - and I will always be extremely grateful for having been connected with him and Rebus. They are OUTSTANDING. Not only in terms of their considerable expertise and acumen, but also in being that extremely valuable and rare commodity in what often feels like an intimidating and highly technical sector: a refreshingly human, straight-talking and accessible voice. In all dealings, they cut through the waffle and give you honest, direct answers - you feel like you have an ally who really understands your unique case, and is supporting - and rooting for you - during these life-changing milestones.

When I was relocated to Rome mid-way through last year, my financial situation suddenly became a lot more fraught and complex - and this coincided with the end of my 5-year fix. My experience with Rebus and in particular Neezam and Joy has been second to none. Firstly, Neezam was able to get us the mortgage we needed to get our forever home, which to be honest I didn’t think it was possible for a number of reasons and curve balls which were thrown at him but he managed a mortgage in principle within a day I think and then the full offer within no time at all. Then from then on, be it explaining everything step by step as we are not familiar with the whole process, to arranging surveys, life insurance and also hurrying up the solicitors (which was a constant at one point) I really cannot fault them…. even if I was being really picky I can’t think of anything that they could have done to improve our journey. It’s a stressful enough thing buying a house but it strangely gave us confidence that everything was going to work out well knowing they were in our corner. And they did all of this extra services even after they were paid which is just unbelievable service. It really shows they care and that these guys are more than just mortgage advisors. I have already been recommending them and I will be using them for all of the remortgaging that we will need. I’ll be forever thankful to them.

I am a bit late in writing this review but that is because we have been super excited about moving into our new house! Rebus has offered amazing services from start till end.
