Recovery Kit Avis

I can’t recommend Recovery Kit highly enough. I originally hired their NICE cold therapy machine for four weeks following a distal femoral osteotomy procedure, but I found it so beneficial that I extended the hire for a further two weeks.

The machine was excellent at controlling the swelling, but in my case it was also incredibly effective at helping to manage the pain and has undoubtedly started what will be a long recovery in the best possible way. I don’t like taking tablets if I can avoid them, and after being discharged from hospital I recovered using only paracetamol. I genuinely believe the NICE machine played a huge part in that.

A special thank you to Eleanor, who was always helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely cared. The service was every bit as impressive as the equipment itself. If you’re facing surgery and can stretch to hiring one, I think it’s worth every penny. Thanks Recovery Kit, it’s great to deal with a company who still give such excellent customer service where most companies now fall short.

The NICE unit provides unprecedented flexibility in terms of post injury care. With no need for ice, the unit is simple to use and the cuffs robust enough for the continual use required in our environment.

I want to thank you most sincerely for sending me the NICE machine after my hip replacement operation. Oh my goodness, it was the one thing I could not have managed without. I feel morally bound to tell everyone about it, and about how it made this difficult time much, much easier.

It has provided more pain relief than most of my pain relieving medications. I just can’t compliment it highly enough. It was very easy to use and quite intuitive. When I couldn’t take any more meds it was the one thing that stopped me from going crazy. I really appreciated being able to wear it throughout the night. The compression feature was especially pain relieving alongside the cold. I even found that I could dim the display light during the night!

It made this whole experience much easier. Thank you.

This machine is fantastic - no hustle, minimal noice and only needs water. Can also work endlessly with easy configuration so can be used at night time as well.

In addition their customer service is superb! I had to changed twice my surgery schedule and they accommodated the changes in an amazing timely manner.

I would highly recommend this machine!
