A Pretty Positive Initial Stay…
A few months ago we decided on Red Cottage for a stay at one of their properties in Bethel Woods for a concert. We were there for a total of five days and despite not knowing who they were, Red Cottage did not disappoint. There was a property we were eying and to our dismay, it was quickly taken off their site due to unavailable dates. We were about to book with AirBnB but somehow I had an inkling to peruse Red Cottage’s site one more time prior to finalizing with the former. Lo and behold, our desired property was once again made available. Yay! We contacted them via phone and the experience / transaction was seamless. The property itself was as pictured, if not even better in person. This particular house would be an ideal one for us if we were ever to purchase based on its modern exteriors and interiors. It was a bit secluded with another property nearby although it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The place appeared to be new. We love a beautiful design home, and this was one of those right out of the pages of Architectural Digest. Everything worked well within the property and we had no need to contact Red Cottage’s for further assistance. An improvement that could be made for this property would be thorough, proper cleaning. With rental properties like this, I understand not every nook and cranny could be tended to but truly - no one wants to see dust collecting on the wall moldings. We paid enough for your prices, invest in good housekeeping to keep your business and properties afloat. Other than that, we would consider them again in the future if there arises a time we are in need of a vacation rental.
