Redemption Press Avis

When WP unexpectedly closed its doors, the closure left many authors high and dry. Personally, I had published two books with them, and their demise could have negatively affected me. However, when Athena stepped in by faith to redeem a disastrous situation, she made a big difference to so many of us.
Since Redemption Press began, I've published additional books with them and feel blessed to have such an affirming publisher in my court. Each experience with editors, designers, project managers and support staff has been exceptional. The company's commitment to godly integrity, publishing excellence, and author support and education is second to none. I highly recommend Redemption Press.

Searching for a Christian Book Publisher?
I am a Christian writer and author of God’s Profound and Urgent Message. Since 2017 I have been working with Redemption Press, beginning from a rough manuscript and ending with a book, and later to a second and third edition and currently doing refinements and updates. Through Redemption we also have Kindle and audio version on Amazon with over 300 reviews. I can personally attest that Redemption Press is truly a reputable Christian company with high integrity. From Athena Dean Holtz (the owner) to everyone on board, their professional editors, graphic designers, project managers, marketing managers, etc., have all been the sweetest friendliest people. In my current dealings for updates to our book I received quotes the very next day. And in my 8 years working with Redemption doing book, kindle, audio and marketing, I find their professional staff, editors and graphic designers have far exceeded my expectation.

I wrote a review last month about an experience that I had with Athena, owner of WinePress and Redemption Press. My English and Spanish bilingual editions of my book were published 2008 & 2009. Athena wrote me privately for obvious reasons. She sold WinePress and then they went out of business and left me holding the bag. I had $12,000 on my account with WinePress which disappeared. They had 15,000 copies of my books in their warehouse. I was threatened that if I didn’t send more money immediately that they would throw my books in the garbage. This was after I had already paid all of the publishing costs. It was like putting a gun to my head. I also paid extra to have Redemption put their stickers on all of my books in stock. Athena has known about this since 2009 and she has made no effort at all to help rectify this disaster. She only contacted me recently after my first review. As of this date neither Athena nor Redemption has done anything to clear up the disaster that she caused. She likes to blame others, but all of these things came about as a result of her decisions. Please contact me for more information.

Nature grows pearls from grinding sand inside the Oyster. On 4/6/2023 I gave a negative review on Redemption Press. That review is now turned into the pearl of a five star review! Redemption Press revised and expanded my book with items that went beyond expectations. For example they reformatted the book, gave it a complete new look along with a new title and cover plus adding questions at the end of each chapter making it better equipped for group studies. These additions make the book much more marketable. I recommend Redemption Press to anyone who may be looking for a staff filled with professional, caring, patient people who listen and resolve problems, all the while keeping things positive for the good of everyone. Their integrity is wonderful to experience. I strongly recommend them.

I love this tribe of writers. Redemption Press continues to amaze me with each workshop they offer.

I appreciated that Redemption Press was not interested in publishing just anything they could print in order to make a buck. They were selective and scrutinized my story and message. As Athena mentioned during an interview, "You really DO have a story to tell".
I also appreciated that they were able to provide proofreading and editing services.
I also appreciate that Redemption press is able to get my book to market, on my timetable, which is coming soon. I am finally semi-retired and will be able to do itinerant speaking.

In all you do, you're doing GREAT! Thank you for all you do.

Got me my books in a reasonable amount of time.

I've enjoyed the writing challenge in the past and some of the webinars. Such a true blessing.

Redemption Press cares about each author by making sure each book is to the author's satisfaction. They are easy to get a hold of without any problems.

I was able to be there for a short time. Participants had been put at ease and responded well to speakers. Presenters were friendly, making for a relaxed atmosphere, and were very informative. Participants could ask questions and interact with other authors.

Highly professional 👌.
Coupled with high moral values..

So far SO great!!! Though I am only in the first stage of getting my manuscript published, I have loved working with Redemption Press and every person they have sent my way...I feel like they will be my friends forever. I find each one extremely encouraging and empowering, each desiring to spur me on to persevere and complete my project and get it out there. I also love their hearts for the Lord and His message, the Gospel, and how they support each writer to share it in their individual and unique format.

the Equipping Women in Ministry at this Table podcast on April 10 was very well-done and helpful to me as a new writer and hope to be speaker!

And it was free, which was so amazing!

Redemption Press is a publisher that deeply cares about the authors it serves. Their team is skilled and hard-working. They guide, educate, and support from beginning to end of the publication process.

I have written several books but even when I buy my book I do not see any royalties. I frankly do not trust you.

Every experience I’ve had with this company has been filled with grace and went above and beyond my expectations. Great people!

Thankful for this publishing house that cares about others and wants to change lives through words.
