The staff at Redemption Press is wonderful. We did have a little hiccup, but the owner stepped in and made everything right, in terms of getting my book to me on time for my release party. Overall, it was a good experience punlishing my first book!

I liked the openness and the energy of the speakers. Much of the information was helpful. The breakouts were a bit confusing as either one person dominated the conversation or no one really talked. I would've preferred a designated person to lead the conversation--even if someone was selected on the spot by volunteering. It seemed to me that most ppl on the zoom calls were doing memoirs so I didn't really feel like I had much connection with them. However, there were parts from a marketing perspective especially the financial portion that was helpful. I'm all about women speakers (as a woman); however, I would've liked more variety. The last event was difficult for me to take in and I pretty much tuned out--I understand where the speakers were going--it was just a bit overwhelming especially at the end when I was feeling torn about how much time I was investing with other work that I needed to do. Overall--it's great, probably just not for me. I realized my best conference experiences should be in-person.

It was helpful to be able to pay electronically. The original invoice was unclear about the payment being monthly or a total. The $347/month was stated on the second invoice. Thank you

There was a lot of relevant information and advice. They provided great opportunities to make supportive connections with other attendees. The thing I appreciated most was the strong encouragement about doing marketing surrendered under the Lordship of Christ, a "Holy Hustle."

The service at Redemption Press is remarkable. When it appeared that books would be delayed and not be available for my scheduled book launch, they actually arrived ahead of time! The staff at Redemption Press is exceptional--responsive, kind, thoughtful, helpful, just like "family" should be.

Redemption Press offers excellent training and services for writers.

Zoom connects were great. I recommend them being slightly longer and having a larger variety of discussion questions then repeating the same general ones each time.

For speakers either in Roar fb page or zoom workshops, I would have liked if speakers didnt just read off their slides, but contributed more content not found on slide.

There could be some benefit to having social media workshops that were for those not very familiar with using it and those who aren't new and desired to learn more advanced or currently trending techniques. It also could involve understanding the analytic data, such as what is counted as engagement etc.

Other potential workshop ideas:
Creative Copywriting
Getting out of writers block
Advanced graphic design/ visual resources (not everything in canva)

The ROAR Conference gives you the tools to actually dive in and begin all the marketing strategies that everyone tells you authors should be doing. Workshops include coaching from authors who offer expert advice. The workbook includes checklists and worksheets to guide you in advancing your marketing plan. You are not just told what to do, but how to do it!

The information was helpful and the marketing tips will be great for all my marketing plans.
