Indesign 2 day course - level 1
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and felt that the delivery really suited my learning as it had the right amount of learning/interactivity for me across the 2 days. My objectives were fulfilled after completing the course. I appreciate the support provided by Ally pre-course; Tim on the course; and the after-course support offered by Ally and Tim. Amazing training experience with Red Rocket Studio and trainer Tim Wilson. Having the course completed tailored to my specific needs (Adobe Illustrator) was ideal and saved wasting any possible time focusing on areas not suitable for me. My whole experience from initial enquiry, to 2 day online training, to post-training follow up has been excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for tailored and bespoke Adobe training.

I have just done the level 1 Photoshop course. Initially I wondered whether I would gain as much from the course on Zoom rather than face to face but it was not an issue, Tim has a great teaching style, he is very patient and happy to go over things until they are understood.

The course was well paced and covered a lot in the two days. We were able to ask questions along the way and Tim patiently repeated actions when needed.

I had been struggling to learn this software myself so this was the perfect course to give me the confidence to dive in and start editing. I feel less put off by all the tools/menus/options and excited to know I can now fix and tidy up many images in our photo library!

I’d be happy to recommend this course to anyone who wants to gain proficiency in, and to start working with, Photoshop. I have no doubt I will be a repeat customer in future!

Customised InDesign/Photoshop Course

This was my second course with Red Rocket Studio and like the last it was great!

Ally was very accommodating allowing us to cover not only InDesign, but also some simple elements of Photoshop that we wanted to learn.

The courses, led by Tim, are always well structured and easy to follow. Tim is also very accommodating repeating information that you may not have heard or understood.

I would not only highly recommend the 2-day InDesign course, but also the customised for those looking for more bespoke training.

I work for a small Marketing agency as a video and graphic editor and joined Red Rocket Studio's Adobe InDesign course in order to learn the program as I’ve always had issues working with it. I had a lot of fun on the course, it really helped me to get a better grasp of Adobe InDesign and I feel so much more confident using it at my job! The teacher was extremely friendly and helpful and would always make time for questions and concerns I had. Would absolutely recommend! 😊

Highly recommended. They provided practical helpful problem-solving for someone (me) who did know Adobe InDesign basics but needed assistance to overcome specific issues and gain confidence. Tim and Alyson provide great service at reasonable cost with the minimum of jargon.

As a regular user of Photoshop and Illustrator I was looking for some training on InDesign to enable me to create publications of my work. I came across Red Rocket Studio and after a quick conversation with Ally I felt that they could offer the right level of training given my existing Adobe skill set. I opted for one-to-one training.
All the initial correspondence and instructions were clear, and the morning of the course was a simple log into zoom to meet my instructor Tim. I had previously received all the material and files needed so they were ready to use.
Tim was very knowledgeable, and we moved at a pace that was perfect for me. I found his teaching method clear and super easy to follow with plenty of opportunity for me to try out skills as we went along. I am particularly grateful for the extra tips he gave me on software that was outside of the course profile, but which linked into my intended InDesign workflow. In fact, since I had some knowledge, he covered some areas that were beyond the course level.
The day was enjoyable, and it was easy to be relaxed with Tim. So much so that it did not feel like a course, more like learning with a colleague or friend. The best bit is I have a friend to call if I need help putting it all in to action over the next year.
Thank you to Tim, Ally and everyone at Red Rocket Studios who have created a great learning opportunity. I will certainly not hesitate to come back for further training or recommend your services to others.

Fantastic InDesign training. We had an all day training session which although was a full on day, it was great fun and interesting too.

Really enjoyed my Photoshop and InDesign course with RedRocket studio, I gained numerous new skills and knowledge that I can now use on a day-to-day basis. The one-to-one course was clear to follow and was great to be able to ask questions at any point throughout the training, it was also great that the course was tailored to my skills and what I wanted to learn. I gained a wide range of new skills such as learning how to set up folded leaflets in InDesign and also editing images in photoshop. I would really recommend RedRocket for training, as they have a lovely personal touch and offer help after the course has ended.

This course was extremely beneficial and learnt many useful skills that I will apply often in Photoshop. Tim was very thorough and made it a very easy experience to use the programme.

I have just completed a 2 day InDesign training course with Tim from Red Rocket Studios. He made the course very enjoyable, not too technical and was patient and presented it in a logical manor that flowed through the different stages well. For me, as a complete novice, when I looked at the InDesign desktop prior to the training, I was a little daunted by it all, but once Tim explained in simple terms where things were, it all became quite intuitive. I probably wont be using it for more than making any commercial proposals and other print or email documents I create to look a little more professional, so this course was just at the perfect level for me. I would highly recommend Tim and the team.

I've previously benefitted from Red Rocket's Adobe training, having taken a group InDesign session and one-to-one Illustrator session in recent years. The tuition was spot-on, in terms of delivery, as well as content. Tim is immensely knowledgeable, with a friendly and patient teaching style that sets you at ease.

Since entering a new work role, I've encountered new design challenges and tighter project turn-arounds. I contacted Ally, who had been so helpful on previous occasions, and asked if a day's bespoke training would be possible. To my delight, arrangements were quickly made, a personal tuition plan agreed upon - and a very efficient day of targeted training was delivered.

I was able to hit the ground running afterwards, with improved techniques and work flows in place. Once again, Red Rocket have helped me upgrade my professional skills and confidence - and I look forward to developing further with them, as I continue to grow as a Designer. A quick review to say how helpful the training was. Tim is fantastic. I learned a lot and his tone is absolutely perfect for what he is trying to deliver. Tim and Ally offer their services for up to a year after the day of training - I am sure I will have some questions at some point in the near future.
