I purchased two filters: Lunar Swirls Handheld and Supernova I to use on my Canon 28–70, and after testing them on real shoots, they feel like tools built for actual workflow, not just visual gimmicks.
The Lunar Swirls Handheld is the one that impressed me most from a practical standpoint. Being able to control the movement of the effect manually, without taking the filter on and off, makes a big difference in pace. It’s fast, intuitive, and works well in dynamic situations like weddings, where stopping is not an option. The effect stays under control and never overpowers the subject. It adds atmosphere without taking attention away.
The Supernova I works especially well for portraits. It performs better with people than with still life. It creates a directional sense of movement, especially when used horizontally which adds energy to the frame while keeping the focal point readable. It’s a useful option when you want to avoid static images but still keep visual control over the subject. I’ll be using it for corporate clients to bring a more contemporary feel to portraits.

The overall purchase experience was solid. Packaging is well thought out, with attention to detail and care in presentation. Shipping was very fast. Customer support is handled by real people, which made it easy to ask questions before buying and confirm the filters would suit the kind of work I do. That part matters.
Overall, these are tools designed for photographers who need to integrate effects into their workflow, not just experiment visually.

Company is really good at marketing. Prisms and filters are nice, but not much better than other brands on the market. Expect to pay a lot for this said marketing and nice packaging (that you thrown away anyways).
Customer service is very rude and doesn't care about their customers. They make you feel like shit.
One of my many filters of them broke and I just ordered 2 filters. They had a 3+1 free promo available so I asked if it would be possible to help me out with the broken filter.
At first, they were nice and offered to send me the broken filter when I would order another (so a third) filter. I made the request to replace the broken filter with another similar filter. They did not reject this request via mail and told me to continue with the order.
So I did, but as soon as the order was made, their behaviour changed drastically. They cancelled my order and refused to cooperate anymore. Accusing me of threatening them and forcing them to do things.
Mind blown..
A simple request that could have been answered with a clear 'sorry, that's not an option' would have been a better solution. I'm done spending a lot of money on this company and I would suggest you do the same. Plenty of alternatives to be found online.

Ich kann ReflectLens leider absolut nicht empfehlen.

Der von mir gekaufte Filter hat sich nach sehr kurzer Zeit bei normaler Nutzung einfach vom Objektiv gelöst und ist dabei beschädigt worden. Bei genauerem Hinsehen war klar erkennbar, dass das Gewinde nicht sauber verarbeitet war und keine stabile Verbindung möglich war.

Noch problematischer als das Produkt selbst ist jedoch der Kundenservice. Anstatt sich ernsthaft mit dem Defekt auseinanderzusetzen, wurden meine Aussagen immer wieder als „widersprüchlich“ dargestellt und pauschal als Fehlbedienung abgetan. Auf konkrete technische Argumente wurde überhaupt nicht eingegangen.

Besonders negativ ist die arrogante und abweisende Kommunikation: Der Fall wurde mehrfach einseitig als „geschlossen“ erklärt, und weitere Kommunikation wurde einfach verweigert. So ein Umgang mit Kund:innen ist aus meiner Sicht inakzeptabel.

Eine Rücksendung zur Prüfung sollte ich zudem auf eigene Kosten übernehmen – trotz offensichtlichem Mangel und innerhalb der Gewährleistungsfrist. Jegliches Entgegenkommen oder eine kundenorientierte Lösung wurde abgelehnt.

Die vielen negativen Bewertungen hier kann ich nach dieser Erfahrung absolut nachvollziehen. Wer Wert auf fairen Kundenservice und zuverlässige Produkte legt, sollte sich gut überlegen, ob er hier bestellt.

Ich habe bereits viermal im REFLECTLENS Shop bestellt und bin jedes Mal absolut begeistert. Besonders die extrem schnelle Bearbeitung und der Versand der Bestellungen sind beeindruckend – die Pakete werden sehr sorgfältig verpackt und kommen immer in einwandfreiem Zustand an.
Die fotografischen Produkte sind von hervorragender Qualität. Die Filter erzeugen einzigartige, kreative Effekte, die sich nicht einfach in der Nachbearbeitung nachahmen lassen. Sie eignen sich sowohl für Porträtfotografie als auch für kreative und künstlerische Projekte. Man merkt sofort, dass diese Produkte von Fotografen für Fotografen entwickelt wurden.
Ein großes Lob geht auch an den Support. Der Kundenservice ist schnell erreichbar, freundlich und äußerst kompetent. Bei Fragen zur Produktauswahl oder zur richtigen Filtergröße erhält man immer eine hilfreiche und persönliche Beratung.
REFLECTLENS ist eine Marke, zu der man gerne zurückkehrt – wegen der außergewöhnlichen Produktqualität und des exzellenten Kundenservices.

Since March 1st, I’ve been trying to get in touch with them about issues with my order: both via email and their website chat. The only responses I’ve received are automated messages, with no real help or solutions.

Reflectlens appears to have no functioning customer service at all. That’s unacceptable, especially when you rely on timely support for your work or business.

Because of this experience, I will never order from them again. Think twice before you do.

Melding gedaan bij verkopende partij. Geen service; moet maar aangifte doen.... zeer slecht en niet aan te bevelen!
