When did it become 17.95 per person to…

When did it become 17.95 per person to go to a darn movie. Unreal a movie for 2 now is 100 dollar drop after 2, 10.00 dollar Pepsis and 13.00 for a microwave pizza and another 14.00 for a popcorn. It's ridiculous I'll wait til the future movies come out on stick.
Alamo draft house is 5.00 cheaper per person amd still does military discounts while serving really good fresh cooked food at good prices. Just fyi.

Regal Crown Club app doesn't work

I received an email inviting me to get (up to two) free ticket(s) to the new movie, Sahar's Oil.
I signed into the app.

Sign into your Regal Crown Club account. Search for
Sarah's Oil: Regal Crown Club Screenings.

If there is a search engine or an area to activate a search, I could not find it.

Therefore I was unable to get the free ticket(s).

Very disappointing and frustrating.
There were also things so scrunched up in the app that words were overlapping, making them impossible to read.

The app doesn't deserve a 1 star rating. It deserves a -5 star rating.

Clean nice snack area, good employees

We would go there more often if Hollywood improves their offerings. Rehash, unimaginative films, over done AI and special effects just does not going to the movies as it once was. Thus, I give them less than 5 stars.

I really didn’t think it was fair at…

I really didn’t think it was fair at ALL how they ID for simple movies like The Conjuring. I didn’t have to get ID for Sinners (Which was ALSO a RATED R movie!) , and I went through a lot of trouble because of this stupid ID thing! If you know the movie is bad for younger people DO NOT BRING THEM! Simple as that. But as a girl who was just trying to see the last movie I shouldn’t have to go through all that trouble for a moi e that’s not even real… like it’s seriously NOT that serious. Promise you.

Harry Potter Popcorn Bucket

They did a horrible job with the Harry Potter popcorn bucket rollout. Looks like, for some reason, they didn't think the demand would be there. When you talk to their customer service, they said every location playing the movies would have them, but that turned out not to be true.

We drove an hour out of our way to one of those locations and their employees said they didn't know anything about the buckets. Then, then next day, we went to another location where they said yes we do have them, only to be told no we don't at the concessions counter. A 30$ bucket is selling online for over 150$, so I am pretty confident their own employees were keeping them to resell.

When you go back to talk to their customer service, they say to check their online store, which has never carried it. I've learned to not trust Regal and only go to local movie theaters from now on.

Do not trust Regal to know anything about their own promotions. Not in store and not through their phone or internet customer service.

This Regal Swamp Fox makes Florence, SC look bad:

This Regal Cinemas location is run by white supremacist idiots who talk down to anyone who isn't white. Amanda, general manager and Jeannie, deputy general manager have serious issues with customer service skills at this Regal Cinemas location. My first interaction with Amanda was her telling me to use the unsanitary, neglected water fountains instead of receiving a refill from the filtered drink machine at the concessions counter. One thing you will notice with Amanda is her disturbingly negligent hygiene. What appear to be rotting, brown teeth and extreme malodorous body odor are conspicuous issues with this general manager. You can smell her from just a few feet away. You will not want this unhygienic, uncivilzed woman serving you. That should tell you all you need to know about what to expect in regard to the cleanliness of this theater. Auditorium 4 is one of the stickiest and filthiest auditoriums in the building and you will feel like you need to bathe in bleach after entering.

The training for staff members is embarrassingly poor under Amanda and Jeannie's direction. One example is a new hire who thought it was a good idea to ask me to hand her a Regal Cinemas tablet because she was too lazy to come from behind the concessions counter to retrieve it herself. Apparently these managers didn't train her to understand that she is there to serve customers and not the other way around. This says a lot about the mentality of managers Amanda and Jeannie. They don't seem to realize that customers are the priority and not the problem. Without customers they have no business and without appropriate customer service they have no customer loyalty.

This Regal Cinemas location is extremely run-down and corporate refuses to make repairs or improvements. This has created a breeding ground for mold and pests. This is problematic for those with health issues or allergies. Many of the bathroom stalls and auditoriums smell of mold. I have entered a bathroom only to be greeted by a huge spider. Imagine being in a stall or even a theater chair (in the dark) and having this type of spider crawl over you. An image of this spider is attached.

A concerning issue is the fact that gloves and appropriate tools are not used when preparing drinks and orders of popcorn. I have routinely witnessed concessions associates using their bare hands to drag ice into cups. I have also routinely witnessed popcorn buckets being dragged through popcorn to fill the buckets. This is a serious issue as this leads to contamination of drinks and popcorn.

You are much better off making a trip to the nearby local theater near downtown Florence. From my experience, since the early 1990s, the customer service and prices are exceptional. You will pay less than half of what you will pay at this Regal Cinemas location and be treated with the utmost respect. You will know that your business and loyalty are valued.

false advertising

for the last 9 months our regal theatre in salt lake city Utah has had a sign up for half price popcorn and 5.00 movie tickets on tuesday,every time i ask why they charge 7.50 their answer is corporate makes us keep up the sign and we cannot change. seems like false advertising to me

Denied me a refund for a preorder

I tried to cancel my preorder for a popcorn bucket and they denied my request saying it is a "limited edition item" which makes no sense. I'm never ordering from the regal cinemas online store ever again and neither should you !!!!

Regal Unlimited Pass.....

I cant complain about the building or staffing, BUT.... Regal offers an Unlimited Movie Pass that you normally pay every month. This past month it stated that my next installment was "$21.49 per Year". Obviously I thought it couldn't be right but thats what it stated and even though I wasnt planning on continuing my membership, I figured it would be too good to pass up. I even took a screenshot of it in case I was mistaken, read it wrong or had issues. I even asked some family members to read it in case I misinterpreted it. It turns out it was a good thing I did because Regal charged that amount for the next month only. I immediately disputed and wanted some kind of resolution on their part to the end that I simply asked for a refund, after going back and forth with their customer service. They stated they cannot refund due to the Terms that I must cancel earlier than I requested and yet they dont have to be held to the terms that they stated with our agreement that THEY stated on their site/app!! I get it if they can't fulfill based on an error that their IT department made but the lack of customer service to simply not try and resolve some other way, or to simply give a refund is absurd!! This customer service was a joke, to so easily blame their IT department, simply apologize and yet hold me to their "Terms" and not simply refund me. Maybe this was just the individual or maybe this is the company, but either way, I will NEVER go back to this company again! If we, as a consumer, dont adhere to a contract, we are held liable to the full extent, but if the company does not stand up to their side of the deal we should just accept an apology?! What a joke and sad place we're in as a people.
And if I could upload a screenshot of what they stated, I would. Unfortunately havent found a way to do so. Im not a regular at these reviews but it needed to be stated for all others to know and hopefully make more informed decisions.

The rewards center sucks

This is aimed more so at customer service and the Regal Rewards Center. I tried redeeming points for movie themed merchandise two separate times. The first time my poster arrived in a tube that was bent and had significantly warped the poster. Then I tried buying other posters and instead of receiving posters, I received an empty gift card. What an absolute joke of a theater chain ran by scam artists. I have tried reaching out to customer service multiple times but they never return emails or calls. Your points mean nothing and they charge you extra for shipping. Regal is by far one of the lowliest theater chains in the US. They are doing everything in their power to waste your time and money and are also responsible for destroying the movie industry. Good job, you guys are killers.

The best Movie theater !!

Hey guys I love one particular cinema , Essex regal theater on Delancy New York.
Why? Not because of the quality of the theater or because of the popcorn. I absolutely love the hospitality that I get every time from a gentlemen name Edgar. He is absolutely amazing and memorable. Always professional and has the best personality. Mr Edgar makes every experience a great one.

Worst theater ever

Worst theater ever! Unclean, rude staff, poor sound and picture. Nasty bathrooms and unfit to eat popcorn. Dont waste your time or money there. Allows fraudulent activity and not willing to help in any way to clear it up!

overpriced

overpriced, looks like its run by teenagers. Concession is the biggest ripoff on the planet. Two small soft drinks, one small bottle of iced tea and one small popcorn and a tiny bag of sour patch for $50. Never going there again. Besides they have no direct phone number.

Just purchase at window, theaters not full

I purchased in advanced tickets but saw that I selected the wrong time so I canceled the purchase 6minutes after I made the purchase and was charged 8 dollars for my canceling. I emailed customer service and was informed that I was charged a convince fee. It is so ridiculous!!!! I will no longer pay for this conscience.

NO SURROUND SOUND for Jurassic World

NO SURROUND SOUND for Jurassic World. Only sound coming from front of theater, worse than watching TV at home. I asked them if they could fix the sound as soon as the movie started. We could just barely hear "Welcome to Regal..." before the movie started. It was horrible. We spent $70 on 2 tickets and junk food but walked out after the first dino scene with the sailboat. We tried to watch it, but it was just ruining the Jurassic World excitement\experience. This reminds me of a local theater where I grew up that refused to turn on any of the other speakers if they did not meet the minimum ticket sales for that showing. I think we had about 10 people in our showing today.

Ads after purchase

It’s absolutely insane to give ads AFTER BUYING A TICKET online. I should not spend $20 on a single normal ticket and STILL GET ADS. And on top of that they do not screen the ads at all, two of them were just flat out scams, sponsored by regal.

My wife and I go to the regal theater…

My wife and I go to the regal theater in Sherman Oaks. We have been customers starting when in opened as ArcLight. We want you to know that the new Recliner Seats that you installed are really wonderful. Also we want to acknowledge that the manager “Mike” at this location is also wonderful. His mannerism , taking care of customers is so personable that it is a pleasure to see him when we visit the theater. He is very polite and he just makes you feel so good.
