Reid Cycles Avis 

My order came with a free lock.l received an email from courier,the order will arrive today.Waited 6hrs to arrive and l got was an incomplete lock only.Lock is designed to be latched but the latch is missing.Delivery man said maybe tomorrow for your bike.Ok.Next day recieved email order is on its way.Waited till 2pm and arrived.Waited 16hrs to receive.Another thing l rang Reid (Stanmore) told it's a new bike explained the gearing on the bike needs attention.Booking l had to wait a month so l went elsewhere.

Great product and delivered promptly. I went to the store for advice and the person who helped me was very knowledgable. They advised me of the right product for my son and, although they did not have it onsite, I was told that I could easily order online. This is what I ended up doing. Assembling the bike was fairly straightforward and instructions easy to follow. Would highly recommend Reid cycles. Far more competitive with price than other options.

Brilliant information on the website made it easier to compare the bikes. Excellent robust bike and packaged really well. Delivery was also very quick in a time where the delivery system was under enormous pressure. Thank you. This is our third Reid bike and each time we look at loads of site and brands and always end up back at Reid because of their excellent quality, brilliant service, detailed information, and exceptional value for money. This was an online purchase and we will be back again as the other two kids outgrow their current Reid cycles.

Super fast delivery, but that's where the excellent customer service ended. We delegated the assembly of the bike to a trusted local bike shop who informed us the bike frame was not aligned and the front wheel was buckled. Upon taking this information to Reid Cycles with video and photographic evidence of the issues, we were informed that as we had taken the bike to a third party for assembly, they would not be replacing the misaligned frame or the buckled wheel, despite the bike having never been ridden. It wasn't until I threatened to take Reid to the Ombudsman for selling faulty goods that a different team member stepped in to apologise and sent a replacement wheel for the buckled one. Thank you to Bec for eventually sorting it out, however the way my complaint was treated prior to this was infuriating and I will never buy a bike from Reid again, nor recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend buying from Reid cycles,being a senior I've realized that maybe MTB bike is not really what I should be riding , nothing wrong with MTB purchased by me though my decision,but have realized that a senior friendly bikes like cruiser types could be more suitable for us seniors citizens.LOL so next time I'll check Reid cycles cruiser style bikes,so there's some advice to seniors wanting to get back into cycling again.

I have dealt with Reid Cycles on multiple occasions and had the same great service. One measure of a company that i feel is very valuable, is how they deal with issues that arise. On my last purchase I had some minor damage when the package arrived. I contacted Reid and they replied promptly and arranged the replacement part to be shipped immediately. Communication throughout was prompt polite and clear.

Overall happy with online bike purchase (quality and price), however could be packaged a bit better, some cable and paint finish damage.

The bike is super. I want another one for me.

Purchased a vintage bike for my 16 year old for Christmas. Sending the bike for super quick. After installing bike and pumping tyres, the next morning front tyre was flat after not even being riden. Pumped tyre again and flat again next morning. Was sent a new tube and after taking nuts of wheel the basket frame snapped. Was then sent out wrong size basket frame. After emailing again was sent the right size frame but as l went to open box with the tube in it, have now got the wrong size tube. We are now in mid Feb and still no bike for my daughter. They are very prompt with sending out the products but little care is taken sending out the right product.

Bike had a ding on the back mud guard.

The bike was damaged upon unpacking. A complaint was lodged on line. The complaint process was drawn out and made me the purchaser feel like it was my fault the bike was damaged. After much too’ if and fro’ing it was finally agreed that we would accept a tin of paint and a 10% discount when the preferred option was a new undamaged bike.
The demands of the repacking process were ridiculous and lacked any empathy or understanding. Particularly as photos of the damage were submitted on line. I don’t feel like the on line process worked and it would have been preferable to speak to a customer service representative and clearly explain the issue rather than use the online format. Generally very dissatisfied with the service.

Great bike
However there were about 5 bolts that were not done up. Nothing that could have caused damage but it meant us having to get to Bunnings to get new ones as they fell off whilst riding.

No call back or support from customer service when requested. Instructions on the website were general and not for the product we ordered. The parts were incorrect/missing, leading to the front mud guard not being able to be connected to the bike frame and issues with the training wheels. Far too many problems for a high priced “quality” bike.

Product was not as expected, i marked a review on their website that wasn't positive so they didn't publish it. Service was fine and product was delivered on time just not as expected.

Very help full. Buy me bike online - when it came the front crank was making a very bad noise - contacted the team at stanmore, I took the bike in and there fix it under the free bike service program. There also serviced the brakes as well
