Reigning Champ Avis 21

Been buying the brand for years, the last $500+ purchase I made on Mid weight tees have come with a considerable hem change. It’s a lot shorter than the previous 7-10 years of purchases.
It’s hard to swallow on a brand I’ve trusted for a long time. You can’t have a core series and change the dimensions without any kind of warning.

I now own a bunch of what feels like midriffs.

I have bought a couple Terry hoodies, both zippered and not. I would never buy these again. They are crazy expensive, but the quality is no better than a walmart hoodie, potentially worse. They shrink up and get all boxy. The material starts to feel hard. If you try to stretch it a little to fit after the drier the threads rip. I bought a large, and generally large is a bit too big for me but these are now too small. I have to give 1 star when comparing the price to quality.

Premium price for not even run of the mill product.

I've literally spent thousands of dollars at RC but I'm done. I returned an item for store credit. My store credit arrived one day after their sale ended. I inquired if I could use my credit to purchase a jacket at the sale price and was told no. Well, your loss, RC. You've lost me as a customer.

would rather they increase price rather than make overseas as the quality has declined since. Overall still very happy with my RC purchases. Blazing fast delivery service.

Awful customer service.

This used to be my favorite brand ever for t-shirts and athletic gear. Quality was amazing and consistent. I literally have dozens of their t-shirts. As I discovered with my most recent order of midweight t-shirts, they’ve now shifted production from Canada to Vietnam and are cutting corners with the material, making their product considerably more average and unspecial. I’m genuinely saddened by this change.

Great quality shirts and fits really well. I have bought multiple times from them. Returns are easy and straight forward.

I've purchased a number of tees from Reigning Champ and never experienced issues - until now.

I bought one of The Masters inspired tees, and it fits short. I measured it and it fits more than an inch shorter than what the size guide says on the website. They offered me an exchange, I said I want the same shirt but in the proper length, and they told me it's out of stock and I would have to go a size up and a different colour. For the record, I am tall and thin - I buy the size I buy because historically with their clothes, I KNOW this is what fits me comfortably. It was an issue with the shirt, not the size. They told me there was nothing they could do for me outside of the exchange for a different product, which is disappointing but I guess I get it. I'll have second thoughts before buying another shirt from them or recommending them to friends. Customer service was quick and friendly, though! Just unhelpful.

I’ve bought I don’t know how many things from Reigning Champ now, hoodies, sweatpants, joggers and t-shirts. When I originally started buying from them I couldn’t get enough everything was perfect since then, I’ve replaced a hoodie same size same style and couldn’t be further away from the same with another style of hoodie and Joggers. Return policy is non existent, spoke to someone said they’d sent me an email re international return never heard back. Sadly I think that’s it for me and Reigning Champ.

I’ve been a client of reining champ since the start of COVID , I had bought their masks. During that time I’ve bought three hoodies, joggers , and down puffed jacket. Love all my stuff. The return policy absolutely sucks !! The zipper fell off my jacket in the dryer and won’t fix it. They say it’s wear and tear !! Really ! On a zipper 🙄. Anyways I wear this jacket to walk my dog in the morning and at night . I do not wear it to work. The jacket looks brand new as I have a few jackets that I wear. Anyways beware when you buy reining champ as their quality seems to have slipped and they don’t stand by their product.

Horrible return policy. I’ve been a client for a few years now. Great quality products but…. Anything on sale isn’t refundable. And the sizes don’t match other items in the same size! So if u bought a small that fits in one item… and buy another small that’s on sale in another item u like and it doesn’t fit. Too bad. Can’t return it.. not even exchange it for a size that fits! Just credit. And u have 15 days to do it! Sale items run out on sizes too… so sometimes u can’t even return it for another size. And if u do find another size and sale has ended.. ur credit can only apply to the current price. So u don’t even get the original sale price u paid for.

I immediately felt like it was aritzia’s policy which is the same and sucks…. I find out with a Google search that aritzia bought them in 2021! That’s why this policy sucks it’s the same company. You think going to a store would solve this but RC don’t have physical stores in Montreal yet. And if they did I still prefer online shopping. Get your return policy fixed. It sucks. 15 days to return an item? Even during December for gifts? And non-refundable sale items. It’s horrible to try new items on sale at risk of being stuck with a purchase because u wanted to try another item. It makes the online shopping experience horrible if u can’t be flexible with returns and get something else to replace it at the same sale price… Final sale is another story… but regular sale? Aritzia policy crap. the only reason I gave it 2 stars is the quality and the customer service that “sometimes” allows for a return/refund on sale items… but I’m sure that won’t last. Fix your sizing inconsistencies at least! And charge for a refund - restock call it whatever u want if u have to charge 10-15$.. anything. Sale items shouldn’t be non-refundable. U should be able to do what it says… exchange it for another size at least. Can’t try new items that might not fit and be stuck with a purchase… and if the sale ends have to use the credit to get the same item in another size at higher cost. It’s ridiculous.

They won’t answer emails or voicemails. Stayed on phone for an hour no answer.
They sent me a sweatshirt made in Vietnam with stretched out sleeve cuffs. ?
Thought these were made in North America. Stretched out cuffs???
they want $25 fee for a return through the website.

Beware - this is not ‘free shipping’ as it states on the website; anything to the UK/Europe is subject to a large import levy that reigning champ choose not to mention (unless you go digging around in the t’s & c’s).. Kit is reasonable quality but hugely overpriced when you take shipping and import duties into account..

Really nice fitting shirts and tees, but quality has gotten worse over the years. Stitching tends to fall apart after 1-2 years. If you want slim athletic wear, this is one of the better options out there. It’s great that a lot of their items are still made in Canada and the US.

Placed order by mistake and they won’t cancel it, contacted them right after I received the confirmation email, they have no return policy from Europe so now I am stuck with 600$ worth of merch that I don’t want + border fees WHICH ARE NOT DISCLOSED for 120$. SCAMMERS

RC product quality is really great, the quality and the fit is excellent and I have been a loyal customer for some time.

Unfortunately, as others pointed out, what lets this brand down is customer service, which is poor.
I ordered a T-shirt that was incorrectly described and photographed on the website.
When I tried to return it for an exchange, Noel - the client experience manager - have offered to do this for a 45USD restocking fee (on a Tshirt that costs 80USD).
Even after repeated attempts, I did not get anywhere unfortunately.

It is a shame that the service doesn’t match up to the otherwise excellent product just yet.

Sent the wrong item, difficult to impossible to get ahold of them on the phone during business hours.

Low quality, inseam unraveling and no answer to my email in 4 months. Can't recommend.

Excellent Quality and customer service.

It's very rare that you will visit a store in Vancouver with customer service like Reigning Champ. They're patient and friendly. 10/10 would shop there again.

I just love this brand. The quality, fit, materials are second to none.

While the return process could definitely be improved, the customer service is great otherwise.
