Although it seems to help getting better sleep, it's the afteraffect that bothers me. Everytime I used it, I woke up feeling high levels of anxiety and depression that lasted throughout the next day.

There are side effects…

This review is not so much about the effectiveness as a sleep aid but as a warning about the side effects. I did not purchase from the website or ad on tv. I saw them in my drugstore and decided to give them a try, as I had been having bouts of insomnia. I took the recommended dose (2 capsules) about an hour before going to bed. It did seem to help me fall asleep a little faster. However, the next day, I came down with severe stomach cramps and explosive diarrhea. The only thing I can attribute it to is the sleep aid. A closer look at the ingredient label shows it contains magnesium oxide, which is known to have a laxative effect. Two days later, my stomach is still not back to normal. Needless to say, i will not be taking any more of this product. My advice to all is to read the label carefully and do a bit of research on some of the ingredients. I wish I had.

This product did not work for me

This product did not work for me. Took advantage of the "shipping only" offer. Fine print - they charged $125 after the trial period, and I did not return it (forgot to check the fine print). The product did not help me sleep and gave me a terrible headache after 3 days of using it. Basically, melatonin at an extremely high price.

Poor Customer Service

I ordered a bottle and found out from my Cardiologist that I should refrain from taking since it had ashwagandha in it and could cause sever bleeding since I am on Blood thinners. Amazon refused to take the return and Relaxium refused to accept the return since I did not purchase it directly from them. Nothing on any advertisements notes anything about Heart patients.

The "free offer' is a scam

The "free offer' is a scam. They automatically put you on a negative option to ship and charge your credit card every two months.

So I called Relaxium - the first thing you have to listen to a Bill O'Reily commercial! When I spoke to the customer no-service person, she tried to tell me to take two, instead of one. I said no thanks. Then she offered me half price - I said no. Then she went on and on. I had to raise my voice - I wanted my money back.

It was the most horrible return experience I've ever had.

Bad effect on customers with chronic heart disease

I ordered relaxium and received two bottles on Thursday. I took two tablets as suggested at 11:00pm. I went to bed at 11:30 and fell asleep rather quickly. At 2:00am I awoke with a pulse rate of 136. It continued to stay between 129 and 144 until 3:00pm when it dropped to 68bpm. I called customer service. The representative was not empathetic, in fact a bit non caring and told me that she would cancel my membership but would only give me credit for one bottle after returning it and said that they just didn't write that it could affect the heart and said that people with heart conditions should not take vitamins including multi vitamins which my doctor recommended. I am very dissatisfied with the product and customer service.

I bought this product a couple years ago. They had a special on TV.
That you buy so many.You'll get a couple of free. So I did I think I bought six. I can't remember it's been a while.
I tried to product, did not work for me.
Could not take the product back because I lost a receipt. I think I used three bottles to see it would work, buy the third one.It was not working for me. I was disappointed. I don't sleep that good.

This product and company is completely falsified and illegal

This product and company is completely dishonorable dishonest and untrustworthy including the ingredients. UPDATE: No change to my sleep at all

No change to my sleep at all. Everything they boast - faster, longer, deeper, was totally ineffective and no different than if I drank a cup of water with nothing 30 minutes before sleep. There was ZERO change to my sleep patterns at all.

Thanks for your reply. I DID contact your support team and they said that they would refund PARTIAL to me since I had already used the product. WTF? It just doesn't help me to sleep.

I've been using Relaxium for about a week now. It does NOT help me get to sleep. I take it an hour or so before I go to bed and 2 to 3 hours later I'm still awake. The ads claim it works right away and the first night. No way. Tonight I took it about 10 PM. It is now 2 AM and I'm wide awake. This has been consistent. Forget about getting this to help you sleep. It's not worth it.

Incredibly misleading marketing! Even if you’re smart enough to cancel immediately, they expect you to mail back the product. So much for a FREE trial. You can try this product on Amazon without the risk. I wish I had figured that out.

Scam/bait and switch

You are the ones who need to be honest! The TV ad "LEADS" one to believe that you pay for postage for a "FREE" trial. Like a naive child, I called and apparently, you have to mail it back w/in 15 days or you pay $60.00 every 2 weeks. Reviewing other responses on Trust, it seems everyone has a similar story; but the one I like best is the person who calls your company a "bait and switch". Shame on you!!! I immediately canceled my credit card and put in a fraud claim. I'm sorry for those who didn't.

Signed up for 17 day trial for $7.88 in shipping. Product never arrived. Couldn’t reach relaxium via their phone number on their web site. Had to resort to online cancellation which didn’t give me the option to state the product didn’t arrive. They charged me $62.50 to keep the product I didn’t receive or return it. Meanwhile they kept the $7.88 but I was able to get the $62.50 refunded. Stay Away. Very unfriendly to their customers.
