I went to the taster and loved it, signed up and paid £600, and after 5 weeks left. I found the teaching very poor, extremely repetitive and boring. The course was slow paced and could be done in half the time allocated. It’s not about the money, that comes and goes, what hurt was I was so enthusiastic, and excited to learn, to reinforce what I’d learnt on you tube, but that soon left and found myself becoming less and less engaged until I became so bored I Knew I was wasting my time. I hope my enthusiasm for BSL returns, but I won’t be going back to Remark to learn.

I completed Level 1 BSL with Remark! The course was great and our teacher Laura was amazing. I thought it was great how right from the start she had us using BSL, and she was great at making sure we were ready for the exams. Remark! is a really great environment and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of learning BSL.

I did BSL Level 1 at Remark! and it has been an amazing experience. My teacher Fahima, was friendly, professional and supportive. I learnt a lot for her. I really recommend Remark!

Incredible experience of the workshop on British Sign Language. I think more people should be aware of deafness and how to approach and communicate with deaf people. Thank you for the knowledge and the positive energy you bring!

Tutor The Nation hosted their In-Person Volunteer Ambassador Training Day in the 'Yellow Room' at Remark! Events in September 2022. The facilities were excellent and the staff were very helpful in setting up the room and IT systems, as well as answering any questions. Tables, chairs, a presentation screen, HTMI cables, glasses and jugs of water were all provided. Bathrooms were also available. 18 Leather Lane is well located, 5 minutes from Chancery Lane Station. We cannot recommend the venue enough!

Took BSL level 1 with Alison. She was a great teacher, Remark! are very responsive to questions, and we all made friends in the class. Wonderful experience.

For BSL level 1 the teacher (Deborah) was wonderful and I really enjoyed the experience. The Remark staff were always helpful.

Alison was an excellent teacher and very patient with me, as I started at a low level, but climbed my way up. Shelly was a great administrator. She guided me towards the best way to practise for the exam, even though some of it cost, it was not expensive and it was not forced upon me, just suggested, but it was honestly was the best way to pass

Just had a great workshop at the weekend on Ethics, presented by Jason B. I highly recommend this for CPD as it was academically based, without being dreary, thought-provoking, relevant to current practice and very interesting. There were plenty of examples of interpreting scenarios for us to unpick; as a small group of six, this gave everyone the opportunity to participate if they wanted to.
This is the second CPD I've done through Remark! and I'm sure it won't be the last. Thank you.

I completed the intensive level 1 course in August this year. From the office staff to the teachers I can only sing their praises. I really enjoyed it, a safe and fun learning environment. Well laid out lessons and lots of resources to help you.

I've done there exams for BSL lev 3 and intense course for lev 6. I'm bilingualist (sign language and spoken language) from Poland and wanted to improve my BSL and get certificates to achieve my career goals. It was fantastic half year - travelling to London and Zoom-ing when lockdown appeared. The teacher was amazing and I learned a lot, really a lot. She changed positively views and increased my confidence in BSL fields. Thisis exactly what I expected from course. Not to forgot about administrator who was responsible for smoothly managing getting us to Signature. I loved Remark! and I'm very very pleased that one of your assessor convinced me to coming there for level 6. Thank you so much!

I recently attended an International Sign Language workshop with Remark! taught by Gavin. The workshop was over two days and was so interesting and valuable. Remark! were so helpful and organised, I would highly recommend their workshops and will certainly be booking another in the near future!

I have had a year of learning BSL Level 6 with Andrew at Remark! It's been brilliant, even through the pandemic/lock down, we managed to find a way online.
Andrew's teaching is excellent: always well prepared, well-structured and the provides a good balance between expressive and receptive opportunities.

I did BSL Level 1 - 6 at Remark! and all the teachers were so supportive! Everyone is really friendly and welcoming and it's great that you get to meet so many Deaf people with different backgrounds to practice your skills. I also really enjoyed the free Sign Club to practice every Tuesday. Thanks Remark!
