Resistance Bands Australia 

Ordered a resistance band package and was told I would receive my order within 2-9 working days. That has now lapsed and I have not heard from the company even though I have phoned and left 3 messages and sent an email. Still no response. They took my money and now I have no goods. This is just not good enough and not communicating with their customers is just worse. They
call themselves Resistance Bands Australia but this is not the way Australian online retailers should work. I will be seeking consumer legal advice if they do not contact me soon. Buyer beware.

Placed an order on 21 Oct. Promised to deliver 2-9 working days from date order. Emailed them 10 days later asking if they've sent my order. No response from them, so I decided to call. Mark answered the phone and his respond so unclear. However, I received email from them apologising and mentioned about the delayed of their shipping container from China. They happy to give 5 mini loop as complimentary if I'm willing to wait for a week or two or alternatively to refund my money. I replied back that I'm willing to wait since I'm not in a rush and also I read a good reviews about their product as well. I give them chance. 2 week later NOW I still haven't heard back from them after another email asking about my order.

I ordered a full set of bands five weeks ago. I have tried calling many times and sent several messages with no response. I’m starting to think this is a scam so like a few other reviewers I’ll be seeking legal recourse if I don’t get these bands soon. This is ridiculous.

UPDATE: After I posted this review they got in touch and said they’d send the bands and gave me a host of reasons for their backlog. They said they were still waiting for more bags though, so that would be delayed. Then bands arrived but several were missing. I’ve tried contacting them again and was assured that I would be getting my full order with a couple extras in a week or so. A week later I received the rest of my order with an extra two mini bands. These people are the best price I can find, their bands are great quality, you just have to be willing to wait months and put in a lot of follow up to get them. I wouldn’t bother with the handles with loop bands, but the door stops are perfect for cable style workouts.

Such fast shipping for this time of year! They have definitely sorted out any shipping issues of late because we have our product shipped out within 3 days and have been using the bands for 3 weeks now and loving them! Thanks again for providing fast shipping and we will be back in the new year to grab some power bands. highly recommend

UPDATE: AFTER ALMOST 3 MONTHS IM STILL WAITING on this product to arrive. I received an email from Resistance Bands Australia a day after leaving the review below, apologising and promising delivery within 2 weeks. They said it was due to a shipping issue from China, and said they would throw in another product for compensation. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, HOWEVER I AM STILL WAITING!! This is absolutely ridiculous! I have never been treated with such disrespect by a retailer. I am now absolutely convinced this company is a scam. Do not purchase from this company unless you like to give your hard earned money away for nothing. They do not deliver on their promises!

Starting to wonder if these guys are a scam as I ordered the Ultimate workout system on the 21st October 2018 and am still waiting to hear anything from them almost a month later. it shouldn't take this long to order something from Sydney to Adelaide! I ordered an item from the USA a day after I ordered from these guys and that arrived weeks ago.
I have emailed the company, left a review on their website and tried to call them (the number only goes to voice mail) and never received a response. The customer service is not just appalling but non existant.
I really wish I had seen all these other reviews earlier, as am worried I will not see my money again, and will be putting in a complaint to the ACCC also if I dont hear anything from them soon.
Why bother saying you will deliver within 9 business days if you obviously cant. Is this even coming from Australia? - I doubt it.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
They are a rip off company - take your money but don’t send your order. Don’t answer their phones, don’t reply to messages or emails.
Take this as a warning!!!

As below, 2 weeks later, no bands, no response to email notification.

Edit - received belated response and product in full (only 2 weeks later) as well as bonus program. Not a sham company - just a bit slow. Email response advising of the pending delay would have put mind at ease.

I only ordered an ankle strap but they sent me an email saying that they would send two (an additional one free) and both arrived in 7 days.
The email also asked that I provide a review if happy with the service which I am. I have read the reviews below but my experience is very good, paid for one, got two, delivered on time. All good.

I can not believe these reviews! I too am disappointed I didn't further review this company before ordering and paying for products that are obviously not going to be shipped! I ordered on 3 August and here we are today 24 August and no delivery and no response from the company. I have emailed them twice with no response and also left several voicemail requests for details of when my order will be shipped. I will be contacting the ACCC to lodge a complaint and request an investigation and I will also be asking my bank to stop the payment!

OMG! I just read all the reviews and realized I am not the only one. I wish I had read them earlier before spending $100 at the website!! I have called RBA several times, left several voicemails and messages but haven’t heard anything. I ordered the bands about 3 weeks ago and as everyone else expected my delivery in 9 days. If I don’t hear anything from them, I will be filing a complaint with ACCC because so it’s so wrong for the company to charge you for something and NOT SUPPLY or answer any calls! They are definitely a scam!!

I ordered their 5 pack of bands for $99. After 8 days they arrived and were for a present. I didn’t open the black bag they came in until the person opened their present a week later. It was embarrassing as the red bands were missing. I emailed, rang and emailed again but no response. I feel really angry that they throw in free stuff and give you 10% next buy but they can’t give you what you ordered. I have bought many bands from them over the years but never had a product missing. I have photos of everything unopened and will take this further with Consumer Affairs. Because I am wanting the red bands or my refund of them back. Note to self always check parcel straight away.

I ordered some of their products over 5 weeks ago. They said in their confirmation email, AFTER TAKING MY MONEY, that I would receive my bands within 2-9 working days. I have received nothing.
I have sent emails and called their supposed customer contact number several times and haven’t received a reply or even got to speak to someone. Pretty sure they are some sort of Nigerian scam. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I have received my products after approx 10 weeks. I have also been contacted by email and phone asking me to remove this review. I won’t be doing that.

However, I do believe in second chances so, the product is excellent quality compared to other similar items that I have had in the past. Good constant resistance and appear to be very sturdy. I particularly like the versatility of being able to add bands together allowing small incremental improvements.

Despite that, I would recommend that if you are considering buying products from this company, call the number or email them first. If you get a reasonable response, then go ahead. If you don’t speak to someone or hear back by the next working day at least, well then you have to decide how much aggravation you want in your life. I’m pretty sure it’s just one guy with a heap of boxes in his spare room. So I’m changing my review to a 3.

I know you are reading this. Every one has supply chain problems from time to time. If I had of been told when I purchased them they would be 10 weeks, or had been told 5 weeks, then told at 5 weeks there was another delay, I would have been disappointed, but still got them because they were what I was after. Everyone has heard of the rip off places on the net, so when you don’t do what you say will do, THEN, become uncontactable, well it sounds like an episode of A Current Affair. Answer your damn phone and emails. Even a stock response would be something. There are answering companies who will take your calls for you.

2nd edit. I don’t know if you can see the response to this review. At no time did I speak to anyone. A message was left that I did not reply to. No forgiveness was given. The balls on this guy!

This is my third time purchasing one of these bands and I have never had an issue with any of my purchases, delivery took no time at all and I was pretty happy with the quality of the bands.I'm super happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend these guys if you are looking for quality resistance bands!

I have reviewed this company last Thursday. On Friday I received a phone call from Mike, who said he was a director. He said they were overloaded with orders. Really, that's just an excuse for poor business administration. He said the product had been sent and I would receive it Saturday or Monday. I received it Thursday. He asked me to remove the previous post on Trustpilot, or at least put in a favourable report. I said I would. I received an email from him today repeating that request. Unfortunately, I cannot. Firstly, it says on the website (then and now) that if I order within 30 minutes I would get an extra 10% off. I clicked on the Get Discount button within 30 mins but it would not allow me to get the discount. Then it says: All orders over $99 receive our 6 week Body Blitz Video Training Programme + Nutrition Plan for free, value $197. I jumped to the conclusion that the video training programme was a DVD. It is not. It is an attachment that comes via an email with about 6 pages, ie one page per week, of an exercise plan. It is extremely rudimentary. For example, it says to do such and such an exercise, but it assumes you know how to do the exercise. THERE IS NO EXPLANATION ON HOW TO DO THE EXERCISES. It also provides NO EXPLANATION on how to use the equipment. I don't know how to attach the rings to a door and there is no explanation provided. The nutrition plan is again an email attachment, about 8 pages, and it exhorts you that you should follow their plan, some recipes, a shopping list and the actual eating plan. I will leave it up to you to decide if that is valuable or not. For $110 I think this is appalling value for money. I cannot comment on the quality of the equipment because I cannot use it. I am not taking down this post.

Glad to know I'm not the only customer with the same issue. Received bands as a gift. Wasn't the product I had in mind so asked to exchange it and get a partial refund on behalf of my brother. It has been 30 days plus, way beyond their delivery return terms, and I have nothing back...no refund or return product. Lesson learnt: do your research before you shop with online companies.

I ordered the bands with the confirmation email stating it would arrive within 10 days. After multiple emails and phone calls, still nothing. No packages, emails or return phone call. Probably a fake company. Will have to go through the banks and Afterpay to get my money back.

Products were just what I ordered and turned up within 3 days of ordering. Spoke to phone support with a quick question and staff were knowledgeable and helped me out.

We have ordered resistance bands on the 23rd of February. The invoice number is 2103. After trying several times to get in touch with resistance bands Australia via phone, email, chat we eventually received a respond via email. (After a couple of weeks of trying) Apologising that the container hasn’t arrived as planned. However the email didn’t really add up. That is now again about a week ago and we haven’t heard anything since or received the resistance bands.

Funnily enough they offered us 20% off our next order. As if we were to order anything ever again with them.

If I won’t receive either my order or a refund within 5 business days, I will get in touch with the ACCC and ombudsmen, especially since we don’t seem to be an exception and I start to get the impression, this company is a fraud.

I have had the same experience as Ben. Put in an order 19 days ago, “ fast shipping” promised. Thought it would be quick as it is allegedly also in Australia. I too have sent two messages and have had zero response. Being busy is one thing. Ignoring customers who have paid good money for a product that doesn’t arrive is another. Really frustrated.

I bought some strength bands 9 business days ago and twice I've sent an email and so far I haven't received a reply and I've sent another one today to find out what's happening.

I don't understand how this company gets such high reviews on trustpilot nor why they don't care to respond to my emails in this day and age.

I now know to avoid purchasing companies that seem to have fake real time orders with a popup appearing every few seconds whilst browsing their site. Why do I say fake? Well if they really are receiving that much volumn in orders and have been operating for a few years, it should not take 9 business day to dispatch something. I always support aussie stores before going overseas but this is one to avoid.

Thankfully there's the ACCC to contact tomorrow and PayPal for a refund if I don't get a response.

What would be most disappointing is if they choose to respond in this forum rather than my email I send 8 days ago.
