Company was useless at managing bills…

Company was useless at managing bills in a HMO - bills went unpaid for months on end due to their negligence. This took months to resolve then finally after I moved out of the property they continued charging me despite me no longer having any connection to the property and providing proof of this. They took bank payments out of my account without my permission and charged me for the admin for leaving. Would not recommend to anyone and definitely not for house sharers as they can’t deal with tenancy changeovers/ charging of multiple te

What a shocking company!
Zero customer service.
Taking money from students without supplying them with there broadband that they are paying for.
It’s been 6 months now and still no broadband or explanation as to why!!! Fobs us off all the time, do not respond to any emails!!

Excellent Service – Hassle-Free Bills!

I’ve been using Resooma for a few months now, and it has been a fantastic experience. Managing household bills with multiple roommates used to be a real hassle, but Resooma has completely simplified everything. All our utilities, Wi-Fi, and other bills are bundled into a single monthly payment, and each person pays their share directly, so there’s no need to chase anyone for payments.

The setup process was super easy, and the customer service has been outstanding. Any time we’ve had a question, the support team has been quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Plus, knowing we’re using 100% renewable energy is a huge bonus!

I’d highly recommend Resooma to anyone living in shared accommodation. It’s made budgeting and managing bills so much easier and stress-free. Definitely a game-changer!

Excellent Customer service and no issue with the bills so far

I've been using Resooma since 2 months (unlimited package for electricity, water, and gas), and so far, it's been a great experience. I haven't run into any issues, and the best part is how kind and helpful the team is. Whenever I need assistance, they’re always quick to respond and go above and beyond to help. Recently, I required my billing documents for some work and I wasn't expecting them to create one for me within 10 mins, customizing it according to my needs. The customer service is truly the sweetest—so friendly and attentive. It's been a smooth ride, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! ☺️

Excellent service

Resooma is at what it's doing. When I planned to join resooma I had second thoughts about it. But Elle and Patrick helped me and cleared all the doubts I had. I should really say about their customer response. They reply to every message within a minute and they're just a call away everytime. The process is hassle free and the waiting time is few seconds. And the perks I am getting after subscribing is the real deal.

Avoid Resooma – Unauthorized Charges and Poor Customer Service

In June 2024, I requested a quote from Resooma purely to compare energy prices ahead of my planned move in August. I never signed or agreed to any contract for electricity, gas, or water services. Despite this, Resooma began billing me via email for a full utilities package (electricity, gas, and water) at £200 per month, amounting to nearly £900 in unauthorized charges since August.

According to Resooma’s own website, customers can “request a free quote,” which implies no obligations, costs, or contracts. I only requested a quote, not a binding service, and expected no ties or hidden charges.

Upon moving in, I set up my electricity supply with Octopus Energy. My building doesn’t even require gas, and I already pay my water bill directly to Affinity Water, which has been in place since August. Resooma, however, claims that I “signed up” with them in June when I merely requested a quote. If I truly had a contract with them, setting up my water bill with Affinity or other services would not have been possible.

Even more confusing is that Resooma didn’t start charging me until late September—months after they allege I signed up. If an agreement truly existed from June (which is NOT the case), why the delay in billing? This irregular timing suggests there was never a valid contract, as my other utility arrangements had already been in place since August, and gas isn’t even applicable to my property.

Now, Resooma is demanding a £90 cancellation fee (£30 per service for water, gas, and electricity) to stop these charges—services I never agreed to. I have emails from Resooma reminding me to “claim my quote” or notifying me that they “extended my quote,” yet there’s no evidence of a contract or confirmation. These communications clearly indicate I never accepted any offer.

When I reached out to customer service, I was met with zero empathy and a lack of professionalism. There was no reference number provided for follow-up, leaving me with no effective way to track my ongoing dispute.

I will be pursuing legal action, but in the meantime, I strongly advise anyone considering Resooma to stay away. Their practices are deceptive and exploitative, imposing unauthorized charges and offering subpar customer service.

After reviewing your account activity, I can confirm that the “Start Contract” button was clicked and the terms and conditions were agreed to, which is how our services were initiated. This process is designed to be transparent and requires confirmation steps to prevent any accidental sign-ups. From there, an email was sent to you automatically with the subject "Welcome to Resooma" in June and highlighted how your payment method was required to be added, along with your new account number.

I understand this must be frustrating, however the sign up process was completed for this email to be sent from our systems when your order was received.

Good experience

We had resooma last year and renewed the contract this year again. It took off the burden of keeping up with the bills and paying them to take care of it. Services have improved since they have their own team now. Overall good experience. Have had a few hiccups, but nothing that is a huge issue.

I highly recommend resooma!

What I love about Resooma is the amazing customer service! They’re quick to respond to emails and whenever I call for support or advice I always get through to a person who is friendly and helpful, never a bot. Which is rare to find these days!

The worst service!!!!!!!!

The worst service, sort your bills out yourself. They are contacting me 2 years later that I owe money despite us having email evidence that we have paid all our bills. Our bills were extortionately high at £150 a month EACH for 5 of us. Our house was so cold and damp to save money on bills. Horrible customer service, they'll get back to you after 5 multiple emails, and different people say different things. We just ended up taking over the octopus energy account and the water bills which were surprisingly cheap therefore I'm confused about where the debt is still coming from. DON'T USE THEM! DON'T DO IT!!!!

Renewing for the third time

Renewing now for the third time and have had nothing but good customer service from resooma. The team have always been on hand to help make the process easy. Resooma has been a convenient way for my housemates and I to manage our bills, which can be confusing when moving to uni!

no wifi

we were told that our broadband would be installed on the 2nd but now we have been told that they will install it half a month later on the 17th horrible i have been left without any form of wifi and it has affected my ability to work. we were told we would be sent a temporary 4g box to help out but that was just a lie
