Terrible customer service experience.

Respire refused to offer me refund for items not delivered. Just pointed me to T&C's and gave copy paste responces... Avoid this company, look elsewhere

As for the strips themselves, they purposefully make difficult to find whether the items are right for you and tunnel you down a subscription service for something you may not even be able to use. This type of behaviour is appalling.

Scam. They automatically put you into a subscription without telling you. No option no nothing lol. So scummy and dirty and gross

I purchased some products from respire earlier in the start of the year. At the checkout there was an offer for 40% off . Unaware that this offer entailed you were signing up to a subscription based plan. There was no second page to confirm that you agreed to a rolling subscription model. The offer was just entered like a discount code.
As of yesterday I received a notification and a $100+ charge that the next order was placed. No prior warning email that the subscription was continuing I went back to the original emails of the first order and there was only one line in the email that said thankyou for your subscription. No separate email with terms and conditions. I even went back to the website for a mock purchase and as soon as you click the big 50% of button it automatically places the items in your cart with an on going subscription.
I immediately emailed respire (within 15 minutes) to cancel the order and refund the money. As the item had not been shipped I thought this wouldn’t be an issue. But was rather bluntly told that I had to cop it.
I feel like for a modern company, promoting a self improvement product should have marketing and sales tactics that aren’t reminiscent of a 1980s cosmetics company. Doesn’t exactly provide the image they were going for.
Long story short there discounts come with a catch

Easy to use, actually works, and easy to take off. I don’t have to overthink it.

These strips are game changers!!! I no longer snore or get dry mouth!

Awesome products. My sleep instantly improved using the mouth tape, and when combined with the nose strips I wake up even more refreshed and feel like my sinuses have had a cleanse.
Also love that you can pause/skip the subscription at any time!

This mouth tape literally ripped all the skin off my lips. Tried it for exactly 1 night and had raw lips for 2 weeks. I also was tricked into signing up for a subscription not realizing it was a subscription. They do not inform you that an order is about to ship BEFORE it ships as most subscription services do. Honestly, I think this company is a scam. I tried to return the second unopened shipment and they flat out refused. Now I have 6 months worth of strips that I will never use. Maybe I could use them as duct tape based on my experience with them ripping all the skin off my lips.

These strips are comfortable and easy to use. I feel like I get better sleep when I use them

The product itself is fine, but very similar to many others on the market, most of which are imported from China. My main concern is the lack of transparency on the website during the purchasing process.

The subscription option is automatically selected at the bottom of the purchase page, with no clear one-time purchase price shown upfront. It simply states “Save more with Automatic Refills,” with the box already ticked. There is no obvious option presented for a single purchase—you have to manually untick the box to reveal the one-off price.

Because of this misleading setup, I’ll be choosing to purchase elsewhere.

I started using Respire mouth tape 4 months ago and now can't imagine sleeping well without it. My husband and my sister have both become dedicated Respire mouth tape (and nose tape) users after listening to me praise it as a highly effective sleep aid. The sleep is deeper, more comfortable and I wake up without a sore throat or blocked nose.

Scammers. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! It’s a subscription scam. Had no idea I had even subscribed (that email sent straight to spam ironically??) and when hit with another £60 I can’t return as it’s 30 days after the initial purchase 3 months ago. Scammers, very dodgy business practices, AVOID AVOID AVOID - there are some wonderful companies out there doing the same products, find somewhere else 👍

Great communication and response to emails. I have been using for nearly 4 months now and have given many samples to family and friends after trying other brands along the way. My OURA ring has recorded substantial ( double) deep sleep with the tape. I thought it would never improve but it was instant. If i miss a night of taping it is back down again.

I had an increasing problem snoring which affected my spouse. I tried a mouth tape from a local big box store. It had a mouth hole, so it didn’t completely help and left a painful black adhesive line around my mouth in the morning. I had seen an ad for respire and wanted to see if the product was as good as advertised. I ordered more after the first good night’s sleep and no residue, plus the ease of removing the tape! My spouse agrees that I sleep so peacefully now! I would recommend this product to anyone who wants better sleep.

Great product love the softness, perfect for routine mouth taping

I was nervous to use any kind of mouth tape, but I found that the breathable respire made it easy for me to acclimate to. I’ve seen an a big increase in my sleep quality since using Respire. I have been using it for over five months now and will continue to use it.

They’re very trustworthy, but they have a promotional bent. So you’ve got to basically shop all the deals all the time if you want the best pricing. They’re reputable and responsive. I like the product it’s pretty effective. Simple to use also.

ABSOLUTE SHAM OF A COMPANY- DO NOT BUY AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely shambolic from this scamming company that will not offer any refunds and automatically signs you up for a subscription that you never were aware of. Again absolutely disgraceful company that has no customer recognition or moral duties. AGAIN DO NOT BUY, this company should be reported

They said I signed up for a subscription and I DID NOT. When the company said they were sending my second order I emailed them, told them to cancel, they have this long process. After that didn’t work, I emailed them again insisting they cancel the order and they promised cancellation. But once again another product was sent and my credit card was charged. Luckily my bank cancelled the charge but totally sham company. I should have known after their CEO looked and sounded like a snake-oil salesman in his pitch.

Respire are the least consumer-focused company I have interacted with and are highly likely misleading consumers.

I willingly purchased a trial starter pack and purposefully read T&Cs to ensure it was a one-and-done purchase. Three months later I'm charged a recurring fee (excuse me), I've disputed this and receive the most legalistic response from their 'customer service' team.

I have no doubt their customer service team are paid by misleading advertising and people unwilling to take it further.

Save yourself the trial, save yourself the money, and know that I'd willingly pay money not to deal with Respire again

I was sceptical at first after trying other sleep strips.
These ones are the perfect level of sticky! They stay put without irritating my skin and I am feeling more rested after sleep. Apparently I’m snoring less too!!

My orders have been processed without any issues
