I needed a new pair of glasses as my old ones had broke and the prescription of my spares were severely out of date. I found a really nice pair of vintage Christian Dior glasses on Retro Spectacle, and Emily was extremely accommodating, helpful and speedy considering the fact I had ordered them over the Christmas period. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cool pair of frames!

I ordered a limited pair of Cazals as a Christmas present for someone very special who have wanted a pair since the late 80s, and when they had made a 50 year anniversary edition of the sunglasses, I knew I had to get them. I got in touch with Retro Spectacle and they got back to me, and answered all my questions within 12 hours, and I immediately felt reassured that I wanted to buy from them, and I couldn’t have been happier. They arrived within two weeks, in the middle of the Christmas push, and were absolutely perfect.

Have bought many glasses from Retrospecs and always get so many compliments...the service is fab too. Recently I broke a pair and asked if I could have my lenses swapped into a new pair and this was done for me so quickly and so helpfully. Highly recommend

This was my third pair of glasses ordered from Retro Spectacle. Again brilliant; first pair sun reacting prescription, second pair gradient tint sunglasses and this third pair - the full monty; varifocal, sun reacting prescription glasses.

Emily talked me through the whole process, because this was the first vari focal lenses that I had had.

Emily Charlotte of Retro Spectacles is SUPERB. I have just bought two frames from her - couldn't make my mind up as they were both so lovely! - having had them sent in the post. I told her what I was looking for and she made excellent suggestions. She is knowledgeable about size and fit, which really helped. Her frames are also at a competitive price. I highly recommend Retro Spectacle, the professionalism is at a high level. I bought one frame with prescription lenses and had one of my own frames reglased, couldn't be happier with the result.

Emily was very helpful and knowledgeable. I tried on several pairs of glasses and I also needed a new pair of sunglasses.She was very patient and gave me advice without being pushy .She also explained and demonstrated how far the different priced lenses would stand out from the frames because of my prescription. I was able to get a fantastic pair of new glasses and sunglasses within my budget .These were posted to me and were very well packaged.

Absolutely fantastic service! Met Emily at a vintage fair local to me talked about my frames, which I wanted to make into optical lenses. I then contacted Emily via email, she guided me through what I needed to do before sending my frames. I sent them off, she told me when she’d receive them, got the completed frames back to me quickly, in time for my holiday. I cannot recommend this service highly enough and I will definitely be having some more glasses done by Emily Retro Spectacle, plus I will be telling all my glasses wearing friends.
