Could be a great option, even though this light is expensive, if they had warmer temperatures of light. Some art needs the true colors to pop however some art requires a warmer color temperature. I do have to say that the customer service was outstanding!!

Top rating for Revelite and Andre for outstanding service, follow-up and customer support. The picture frame light is outstanding and provides equal amounts of light to every inch of the painting. It is fully adjustable for light balance, rheostat-controlled and handsomely made. This device looks like the fixture used at the Frick Museum in New York!

Have used Revelites before. Always the best.

The difference the light made on the painting is just incredible. It brought back the quality of the lighting of the gallery. Without it, the wall/room that I had dedicated for this piece made the colors look like mud. Now everything pops they way it should. Just incredible. Worth every penny.

The light performs as advertised. Not inexpensive, but neither is your art. Nothing showcases your art like optimal lighting. Highly recommend.

Revelite lighting is fantastic and my only regret is not originally getting it. I purchased art lighting from Restoration Hardware and was very disappointed in the results. Then, I replaced one of the fixtures with Revelite. It is such a drastic difference - the color, depth of the painting, complete illumination, etc., that I then purchased 4 more Revelite wall light fixtures. Fantastic customer service also.

Your lighting makes our artwork come alive! We can see so much more detail and we are enjoying our artwork so much more. Plan to add more.

Good in that it's the only one I could find with 2 strips of light (why I chose it). Only suggestion is that they should ask the frame width in the setup (easy to add). Want them to adjust lights, not me.
It is a modest challenge to install (I'm pretty handy) in that I had to screw boards into the back of the painting frame to build a platform on which to attach the item. If you're not handy, you'll need to seek help (a framing shop should be able to do it).
Lastly, you will need to install a plug behind the painting as the cord is not intended to plug in below (nor do you want it to).
A lot of trouble, but the effect is nice. Just have 2 toasts to the effect... :)
