Customer service, what customer service.

Not sure about the duties and taxes people mentioned, but I can agree on the customer service is bad.

They offer so many fits, relaxed, classic, overshirt, classic ect, but with no information or measurements to figure out what will actually work. Messaged multiple times to get clarification, as I fit medium in some and XL in other items from them, but they have never replied to any enquiry.

Plain and simple one star

Plain and simple one star, I ordered my shorts two weeks ago and there is zero update on them. Customer service was vague and not helpful. Very disappointing.

I strongly advise against ordering from…

I strongly advise against ordering from Rhythm.

I placed an order based on the company’s own website statement that “Rhythm are happy to announce that we will now be covering the cost of all VAT charges on orders delivering to the EU and UK.” This was a decisive factor in my purchase.

Despite this clear commitment, customs charged me €128.38, of which €87.58 was VAT — exactly the cost Rhythm promised to cover.

I contacted their customer support repeatedly with all the evidence (order confirmation, VAT invoice, screenshots of their own policy). They simply do not reply. Days go by without any answer, updates, or help.

This is not just poor service — it is misrepresentation and abandonment of customers once they have your money.

I am now forced to escalate the case through my bank, EU consumer protection authorities, and public reviews like this one.

really horrible experience

really horrible experience. sold from eu site. nowhere states its shipping from australia. even after paying the bomb price for shipping. then arrives in eu and faced with customs and VAT charges as proper prices were not displayed. I dont even know if that is legal to market from EU and scam people like this.

Terrible customer service

Shocking customer service and slow postage. They don't answer their online chat, take forever to answer emails, and then when they do answer and you ask another question, they take an eternity to reply again. Absolutely hopeless. Orders take multiple days before they even bother to get them in the post. Attentiveness is absolutely poor

Misleading shipping from EU website – unexpected customs fees

I placed an order through RHYTHM’s EU website, assuming — quite reasonably — that products would be shipped from within the European Union.

Nowhere during checkout was it made clear that the order would be dispatched from Australia, and as a result, I was charged €93.87 in customs fees upon delivery.

After raising the issue with customer support, I was told that these charges are not RHYTHM’s responsibility, despite multiple cases in 2025 where similar refunds were granted to other EU customers — including from the same city and country.

I find this not only legally questionable, but also ethically disappointing.

What’s more, I would never have placed the order had I known it would be shipped halfway across the world, both for environmental reasons and to avoid hidden costs.

I’ve since requested a full return and refund, and reported the case to European consumer authorities.

I genuinely hope RHYTHM improves transparency for EU customers — but I won’t be returning as a customer.

Terrible clothing company

Terrible clothing company. Bad quality and they ship from AU to EU! They don't warn you on the website and later on you are subject to custom charges.

Upon filing a complaint they don't answer...

What a rip-off...

Don't order from outside Australia!

Terrible Experience ordering from the EU. They dispatch all their orders from Australia, which means that we are subject to having our parcel held at custom and having to pay a prohibitive tax to get your parcel unlock - Rhythm doesn't take any responsibility regarding other countries custom. 107€ extra to pay for 215€ order, definitely not worth it.
I wouldn't recommend to buy via their website.

Beware

Beware, they accept orders online for sizes that aren’t available. Then just refund a week later without first giving you the option of getting something else. There is also significant difference in sizing between styles of shorts. I ordered a 34 waist which is at least a 36-38.

Deceptive on several levels

If you live in the US, do not use this company. The small print may tell you, that you will have to cover shipping costs, but does not indicate the price will be cost prohibitive if you are in the US. Arrived 10 days after promised, so forget about Christmas. To return it from NJ will cost me $194, and they don’t care. I offered to pay for a prepaid label using whatever method they use to send it to me, and they will not work with you at all. Very disappointed and the five shirts I ordered totaling over $350 all absurdly large. They would be more honest to simply say no returns if you live in the United States.

Ruined my christmas

Ordered gifts for my partner a full 10 days ahead the “place your xmas orders by this date” cutoff on their website. It took them 15 days to even ship the order, leaving no shot of delivering by Christmas. Totally incompetent company. Offered me a 20% discount on my next order, as though I’d ever shop there again.
