Bulk frozen mice
Absolutely blown away by this company. Live in Devon and ordered mice from pinks to hoppers and they arrived fully frozen by lunchtime the next day. Very well packed in polystyrene box with dry ice pellets, payed for pre 1pm delivery and very happy with DPD. Box labeled very clearly with dry ice warning, urgent 24 hour delivery and perishable labels. Would recommend to anyone in the South of England and will always use them to get my snake food

Faultless shopping experience
I cannot find fault with this company I only order frozen mice but all 5 of my orders have been perfect the ordering process, despatch time, and delivery. I would buy in larger quantities but I don't want them getting freezer burnt but even with the delivery charge it still works out cheaper than buying them from my local pet.... Without a doubt I will continue ordering from here.

I ordered from Ridgeway and after i made the order i realised i had used the wrong address, a quick email to them and it was delivered on time to the correct house.
As always a great product, great delivery and always arrives in perfect frozen condition.
Sent the wrong size on one of my items
Ordered a large order of mice in January thought id gotten what I ordered but as I was going out and didnt have time to fully check
The pack of what I thought was large (only one without a label) turns out there between 14.8 and 17.8 not 23 to 29 that a large should be
Contacted on Facebook as cant call direct first claimed the picture/video i sent was the small and medium which it was not
Then when sent more evidence said all they can do is refund the difference which is 2.50 so now i have 40 medium mice and no large only one snake thats will eventually be big enough for the medium and 2 snakes without food as medium is to small and 2 medium is to much

Disappointed in item packaging
I am a frequent buyer from this supplier and most of the time the orders are delivered in a decent condition but i have just received my order and a few of the items were slit open with the items falling out (mice). I normally store the items in the original packaging but i am unable to do that this time and im going to have to transfer into other storage. The items themselves were in good condition so no issue there, i just wish that there was a bit more care taken with packaging of items, especially when spending a decent amount of money on the items and delivery.

Breaches the consumer rights act 2015
Product not fit for purpose and appalling customer service.
I bought a vivarium advertised as “perfect for tarantulas”. Under normal, standard use for a terrestrial tarantula, the base bows and causes the sliding door to judder and catch.
The company claimed I should have identified the fault before opening or using the product, which is unrealistic and incorrect. You cannot know an item is faulty without unpacking and testing it, and using a faulty product does not remove consumer rights. Next, they told me it was too full of substrate, which it wasn’t and was under normal use for a tarantula, which it stated it was perfect for. There were no statements or limits stated about substrate depth prior to purchase, so this argument does not stand were it even true, which it isn’t.
The issue was reported promptly and within a few days by showing video evidence, yet they have refused a refund on the grounds it’s “opened” and now ignore my emails entirely. I have sent four which have been ignored. They seem to think I can somehow identify if a product is working or not without opening the box. Even after use it is illegal under the consumer protection act 2015 to refuse a refund for a faulty product, which this is. Therefore, Ridgeway Frozen may choose to breach your consumer rights as they did mine.
Do not purchase anything from here.
